I reckon I have spent around Β£10k on various courses as part of my coaching education and the biggest lesson I have learned came from a conversation on the gym floor.
Well it has come from many conversations over the past 11 years but that lesson is that 99.9999% of people know what they need to do when it comes to their health and fitness goals.......they just struggle when it comes to actually doing it.
This might be over simplifying it a bit but it is true.
We can have all the knowledge in the world but unless we have the skills and tools that enable us to take action then it means jack.
This is where coaching comes in.
What we are as coaches are problem solvers, plain and simple.
We figure out what the barriers are to you taking action and guided by you we come up with a plan to overcome them.
The more tools we have as a coach the better able we are to help.
This is why I have been working hard behind the scenes on some new exciting ways I can help more people.

When it comes to making lasting changes im habits and behaviour it is important to remember.
You will struggle
You will relapse
You will feel like skipping workouts
You will not always make the best food choices
You will feel frustrated
You will feel like giving up
THIS IS NORMAL!
Don't ever feel bad if any of these things happen to you, it is a sign of growth and change.
What does help in these moments is having a coach who can help guide you through.

If it's not your favourite day of the week, here are some tips to make it more enjoyable
1οΈβ£ Get out of bed when your alarm goes off. Drink a pint of water. Eat breakfast. Take 5 minutes to relax π
2οΈβ£ Make more of your commute. Use your time on the train to read a good book! π
3οΈβ£ Start productive. Save the mundane jobs for later in the day! ππΌββοΈ
4οΈβ£ Do something you enjoy. See friends, walk the dog, visit your favourite coffee shop βοΈ
