As we hold the Eikoku Roshukai summer seminar we hold in our hearts and thoughts the mighty Iwata Norikazu Sensei, Hachidan Hanshi who gave us so much.

The mighty Imai Masayuki Nobukatsu 10th generation Soke left us on this day in 2006. He left a great legacy.

Class of 2019 - we’ll most of them. Proud of them, trained well this year, tried hard, mostly listened, sometimes remembered!! Roll on the new decade.

Shiroi Bara Dojo will be 35 years old next year, maybe a celebration should be in order. Any suggestions?

Thanks to Adam Robinson for finding this beauty! Quenching blade bends one way way then the other due to differential cooling of the parts of the sword.
