Massive congratulations to Evie!

2026 British university’s championships u65kg Champion 🥊

Evie always works hard , is dedicated and most of all is CONSISTENT.

Representing Birmingham university, she’s an original student from the old Rick Manners school of boxing gym and now along with Rick Manners and Loco Boxing Gym we did it together. Evie stuck to the plan and came away with the gold by showing serious grit and determination.
Another shout out needs to go to
Birmingham for looking after Evie whilst she’s at university. Mega gym, good people and great coaching staff. Thank you 🙏 I’m sure she’ll be down with the medal this week, and back to training.

We couldn’t be prouder of Evie. She is a great example of when bad things happen in life to you, not to wallow in self pity but use it to strive for something great.

Well done Champ, beat every girl in your path this weekend. Well deserved. 🤩

Congratulations to Sham!!! Winning his bout at the UWCB event in Leeds.

Sham came to LOCO with zero previous boxing experience. But his willingness to listen, follow the instructions and stick to the game plan made fight night a huge success.

We couldn’t have asked for anymore from Sham. Getting in the ring at any level is a massive achievement and something that you’ll remember for the rest of your life.

Boxer’s of the week!

Both Indi and Chance showed great improvement this week after lots of hard work and dedication.

Indi turned a corner last night with his boxing both on the pads and in the ring .

Chance gave the other kids a brilliant demonstration of how to box and move.
