💥 Client Appreciation 💥

Here's a shout out to my client Cindy with her amazing transformation 💪💪

Cindy came to me in April with a specific weight loss goal which was to be under 100kg and I can say that she absolutely smashed it 👊

With a starting weight of 118kg she stepped off the scales at the 3 month mark at 98kg!! She also dropped 20cm on her waist too 🙌

Couldn't be prouder of her as not only has she achieved her goal but gained the knowledge of training hard and eating right in the process 💪

Let me ask you a question : "Why did you join the gym ?". For most of you, the answer will either be to lose weight or build muscle.

Those are great goals, but as a human being you are a lot more than just a nice physique and luckily gyms have way more to offer than just body goals.

Let me ask you another question : "What has gym changed in your life ?".

The answer is your "true why", the main aspects you should focus on because they are what really matters as a human being.

I am so grateful to have found mine : friendships, confidence and happiness ☺️

Even if you are not vegan, this dish is one of my favourites dishes and definitely a staple in any of my meal prep.

There are plenty of options to make this recipe yours.

Not interested in eating vegan? Swap tofu with chichen.

Vegetarian ? Add brie for more flavour!

Why should you (NOT) do this workout ?

Let's be clear : this is an effective upper body workout but...
it is part of a training programme that has been designed to suit specific goals and needs.

Your training programme will depend on :

• Your fitness level :
A beginner can not train as intensively as an intermediate/advanced lifter.

• Your fitness goals :
The rep range will be slightly different if you are looking at getting stronger or building muscle.

• Your recovery :
Stress, poor nutrition and little sleep are all factors that will negatively impact your recovery.

Trying to lose body fat doesn't mean giving up on the food you like.

You absolutely want to avoid the vicious cycle of restriction/frustration/binging which lead to a very bad relationship with food.

You absolutely adore cookies but want to lose weight ? You can do both !

You just have to be smarter about the options in front of you : buying a packet of cookies is convenient but they are usually full of bad ingredients and low in protein.

Don't worry ! I have the solution for you, the cookies in this recipe are full of healthy ingredients and 9g of protein per serving ! Add some yogurt and you have a perfect snack that will keep you full for way longer !

On top of that you can customise it to your taste so be creative and enjoy :)

Weightlifting might seem overwhelming at first but it doesn't have to be that way. You don't need all the fancy exercises, just stick to the basics, apply progressive overload and do them over and over again.

These five lifts are called compound movements, meaning they engage multiple muscle groups at the same time.

They are undeniably the best exercises to get you stronger but can still be beneficial if your aim is to build muscle or lose fat.
