It going to be a fantastic event
On Monday I was kindly invited by Sensei Clare and Sensei Mike to visit and teach at the Otley Jujitsu Club who are members of Goshin Ryu Jujitsu, World Alliance of Martial Arts and WAMA UK.
Having known Clare and Mike for many years it came as no surprise to see the high standard of their students. It was an absolute pleasure to teach them and I feel I have made many new friends.
Thank you once again to everyone at Otley Jujitsu Club for allowing me to teach there.
I look forward to returning in the future.

I would like to thank Hanshi Christian Hvidberg and his team for the fantastic job he has done as President of the World Alliance of Martial Arts over the past year.
We have all witnessed the outstanding events he has organised, but perhaps we sometimes forget the tremendous amount of work that goes on behind the scenes.
My good friend Hanshi Steve Barnett has asked me to take over the responsibility of his role as United Kingdom representative and to organise the United Kingdom seminar this year.
For someone who started martial arts as a five-year-old boy over 66 years ago, I cannot put into words what an honour this is.
As President this year, I am extremely fortunate to have access to the vast knowledge of our country representatives and members. We all work together under the banner of the WAMA family, promoting our organisation and upholding the principles that have been established.
This year’s Martial Arts Congress will be held in Shrewsbury, England on August 22nd/23rd and we would love to see as many of our members attend as possible. It should be a wonderful event with many international instructors teaching a variety of martial arts.
On a personal note, I would like to visit as many clubs as possible this year and meet as many members as I can.
We are all friends, part of the WAMA family and if anyone has any suggestions, questions, or needs any help at all, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Once again, thank you to everyone for the faith and trust you have placed in me.
I feel truly humbled and I promise to do the very best job I possibly can on behalf of all of us.
It is a new year, and we all have so much more training to do. Training and improvement never cease, they are the essence of our Martial Arts and as such an important part of our improvement and life.
Wishing everyone a very happy New Year, full of peace and love.
