Was hoping to come away from with a squat PB, if not at least match my all time best. But had to play it safe after a dog s**t second and finish 3/3 on squats with a 335kg. I wanted to make sure I didnโt strain too hard on a final attempt as I was banking on a deadlift PB.

Well done to my client for making amazing progress! We started a diet over a 16week period! Her starting weight was 71kg.
No drastic caloric reductions, no extreme amounts of cardio. We started with very little cardio, as the weeks passed we gradually increased her quota whilst trying to lift as heavy as possible using the main compound movements squats,bench,deadlift.
In total, 11kg was lost as we reached target bodyweight of 60kg. We then tested her 1RM again before starting a new training cycle.
With the focus primarily being weight loss, we expected this would impact her strength, although her maxs have dropped, however she's pound for pound stronger than her previous bodyweight.
She managed to get the following numbers:
Squats =70kg/5kg off from all time max
Front squats= 50kg
Bench= 45kg/2kg off
Deadlifts=95kg/10kg off
Sumo=92kg
So it's been a pretty good week of training. Slowly getting a bit closer to where I left off. At the start of the week I managed 280kg deadlift, a ugly 150kg bench and today a 227.5kg squat. Time to relax and enjoy a few nights out and time off the gym.

Normally struggle with finding places to stay clean when am on the go without it being extremely boring! Keeping it clean and low carbs till the cheat with the family to avoid undoing the hard work through the week.
