It's been a long time coming... and, if you don't know already, WHERE HAS U BEEN!.
LTMA has been officially wound up.
The final Tax return was sent in at the end of January.
Thanks to all the members from the past 12 years... its been an absolute blast.
For those of you that want to keep a hand in on the striking, a couple of us get together a few times a week. We currently do this at Everlast at birstall. Space is scarce but we make do. It's not a class and no money changes hands, just friends trading a bit of leather and having a laugh.
Eventually the FB page will be taken down, once I've backed up all the important stuff like photos.
Thanks again to everyone that made our Club possible, from start to finish, we love and miss you all.
Maybe one day, with fair weather and following winds, we can once again "SEE YOU ON THE MAT"
EZEKIEL, aka Jay, aka God dammit Jay, aka F**k you Jay... OUT. xx
Leeds Traditional Martial Arts
Great Martial Arts, Great people, great fun. Traditional Ju Jitsu Classes
Just a quick reminder.
We are not currently running our Martial Arts club.
Jay is doing adhock training at another location for anyone that used to train with LTMA but availability and space is very limited.
With some gyms and clubs reopening, we thought it best to post an update.
Due to the nature and structure of our lessons, combined with the legal requirements around sanitization and social distancing, we will still be unable to re-commence our classes.
We will post updates as and when this changes.
Please stay safe.
Liz & Jay
Due to Coronavirus and changes Government made to advice last night, we wont be running the class today.
Keep your eyes peeled for updates here and on the WhatsApp group if you are on it.
See you all on the other side.
Stay safe.
We will be running one more class, Sunday 22nd.
After this the community centre will be closed and we shall follow their lead.
Please do come along (assuming you dont have plague) as it may be the last class we get to do for an extended period of time.
Anyone not coming on Sunday... stay in touch, stay safe and hopefully see you all soon.
Having watched the Government update on the Cov-19 virus and liaising with Swinnow Community Centre, I can confirm that we will still be running a class on Wednesday night this week. The centre will be reviewing its position at the end of the week and we will give an update at that point with regards to Sunday.
Re: Coronavirus
We are closely monitoring the situation as it unfolds, working with our venue & staying abreast of government guidelines.
We are still open but will inform you straight away if & when the decision is made to close. All monthly memberships will be frozen if the decision is made to suspend classes. If you haven't already, make sure you join our Club WhatsApp for direct updates (talk to Jay).
If you feel unwell at all, even if you think it's just a cold, please dont come to class. Follow any appropriate guidelines regarding self-isolation. If you are attending class, make sure you sanitise your hands on the way in.
Best wishes,
Liz & Jay

Who's out with us for the annual Christmas chickenfest tomorrow? All in attendance will be the first to hear some rather exciting news...
Merry Crimbo Limbo everyone.
Just to let everyone know, we will be returning to class on Wednesday 8th.
Have a great New Year.
No class tonight.
Whiplash induced headache from the accident.
See everyone Sunday.
