This week is Know Your Numbers! Week. It is the UK's biggest blood pressure testing and awareness event.

reaches those who have high blood pressure and don’t know it, so they can get the treatment and support they need to bring it under control.

The theme for this year is 'You know your age, do you know your numbers?'. Whether you are 20 to 80 years old, you could be living with undiagnosed high blood pressure so go and get tested today.

Janmashtami, also known as Krishna Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, is a major Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna, one of the most revered deities in Hinduism. It is observed on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada (August–September), according to the Hindu lunar calendar.

🌙 Fasting and night vigils, as Krishna is believed to have been born at midnight
🏠🌸 Decorated temples and homes, with cradles symbolising the infant Krishna
🎭 Re-enactments of Krishna's life, especially his childhood pranks and miracles

🥣🤸 Dahi Handi events, particularly in Maharashtra, where teams form human pyramids to break a pot of curd hung high above the ground, symbolising Krishna's love for butter

September celebrates East and South East Asian (ESEA) Heritage Month.

is an annual observance held throughout September in the United Kingdom. It celebrates the heritage, culture, history, and contributions of East and South East Asian communities, including people with roots in countries such as China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, and others across the region.

Why it is important?
