We’ll be serving comforting chip shop favourites from lunchtime right through until 8:30pm, making it the perfect excuse to pop in for lunch, an early tea, or a relaxed evening meal with friends and family.

A great event held yesterday and organised by Bruce Allan with support from Gill Newsome and Andrew Waterworth.

Thanks to Colin for setting up his formula and everyone for turning up and those who helped out with scoring. Also to Glenn for making the third court usable. We had two groups. In Group A Colin Davies won and in Group B Nick Bristow won. All points get carried through to the next Slam and accumulate to find the eventual winner at the end of the four

A great day to start the season off with, the course looking fantastic and the weather playing its part.
The winners with a fantastic score of 94 were Mitch Wellman-Brown, Tom Mawson, Rob Smith (Darringtom Golf Club), and James Barraclough (Wetherby Golf Club).

Congratulations to the runners up our very own Steve Drake, Stuart Hesp, Andrew Sutcliffe and Mathew Sanctuary with an excellent score of 90.

The race to be top ladies’ team was won by Denise Bennett, Liz Lawson, Liz Pennington and Jan Ledger.

Thanks to the hospitality team for their hard work,great food served, and the club was busy throughout the day. The day was complimented with evening entertainment from the fabulous ‘Jo Farrow Sings’

Congratulations to our Ladies Section for raising £212.50 in the Easter Raffle for this year’s charity.
They are currently raffling off the Captain’s parking space and this has so far raised £428.
