The last few weeks I’ve been doing Intermittent fasting, even though it’s definitely not for me long term it’s given me the kick start to control my calories and regain some motivation. I would definitely recommend it for short periods I would say a month at the most. I actually saw no weight loss during but since I’ve stopped the weight has started to shift. I have made an effort to increase my steps also which will have an impact. I’m pleased to be getting back to my running though I have lost a lot of speed I want to regain but that’s something to aim for. I hope your all keeping safe, I’m due back to work in a few weeks which I have mixed feelings about.

Hi guys, I really hope you all keeping safe in these strange times. This week I’ve been at work which has been pretty challenging but good. This time 2 years ago I completed my 3rd Leeds half marathon getting my first Sub 2 😍. With the gyms being closed my mind has turned back to running and I’m getting the urge to run more. I’ve also started doing intermittent fasting along with loosely tracking my macros which I’m finding pretty easy. I will keep you updated how that’s going. The scales have shown no weight loss but my clothes are saying different 🤷♀️. My hubby can finally play golf so he’s happy 😃. Keep safe everyone xx

Awesome day meeting Carly in real life though I feel like I already know her from all the Walkie talkies I’ve watched 😂. We have been friends for over a year both being old team Rh members but only just got around to meeting up. We tried a hardcore gym out which was sooo scary but after a little while walking aimlessly about we soon got into a good work out and tried lots of machines out with a bit of help from a few gym beasts 😂. Great to try out some new machinery and great to work out with another female as into weights and tracking macros as me. 😃 🏋️♀️💪🏻

Just a little 8 mile run this morning 😂😍. It was sooo muddy and windy, I had my pink top off after the first mile then back on. Such a icy wind. Was going to run to 5 rise locks and back but I was stopped by a massive goose 😱 I absolutely hate them so instead of braving it past I turned around 😂.

The pure relief when you realise the half marathon you are doing is in May not March and I have 2 months to train instead of two weeks 😂😂🙈

Since January I’ve been consistent with the gym and running every Sunday and I feel so much better for it, today on my run I was thinking about my goals. A few years ago my main goals were beating 5k, 10k, half times. Now my goal has shifted. I’m 43 now and realistically I’m not going to be able to chase pbs for ever. My main goal is muscle growth, looking lean and toned and being able to run up to half marathons no matter what the pace but to still push myself.
