The Perfect Finish! 🏆

​What a way to close out the season! Milford 1 took on Rothwell in today’s playoffs and put on an absolute clinic to secure the win in our final game.

​From the first whistle to the last, the composure was next level. We stayed structured, moved as one unit, and ensured every player was supported across every inch of the court. The connection was undeniable.

And let’s talk about the defence - Fort Knox would be proud! Defensive pressure was at an all-time high, making it nearly impossible for anything to get past. Must be why it was almost a clean sweep for the incredible and the Birthday Girl , with just taking the players player award.

​It’s been an incredible season of hard work and growth for Milford as a club, and ending it with a performance like that is exactly what this team deserves. Time to celebrate! 🥂✨

​Huge thanks to for hosting Milford for a friendly fixture. It was a proper challenge on the court, but we had so much fun. Great sportsmanship and a fantastic way to sharpen our skills.

​M3 played an absolute blinder today. Despite last-minute squad changes and players stepping into unfamiliar positions, the determination to stay positive was unmatched. While the result didn’t quite go their way, the scoreline is a testament to the massive shift the team put in - applying relentless pressure and keeping Chapeltown on their toes until the end. What a way to finish the season!

All three teams headed out this weekend ready to fight for the win, and everyone definitely put their bodies on the line today 💪🏽

M1 put in a massive shift against Rebels. They held it together through a serious battle and fought for every ball. It wasnt the win they wanted, but spirits remained high regardless. 40-65 Loss

M2 faced a slick Fusion 2, they stuck together, kept their composure and executed the game plan to secure the victory! 60-53 WIN!

M3 played with absolute ease from start to finish. Applying pressure to every ball, and dominating every quarter. 63-35 WIN!

Today, we showed exactly what this club is made of. Considering most of us were held together with enough tape to hold up a small dwelling, the club, as promised, stuck together until the final whistle and delivered incredible results across the board. Injuries? Plenty. Excuses? None.

M1 took on the incredible Farsley. With confidence and a steady pace, they kept their composure and controlled the game for a 53–40 WIN!

M2 faced a physical battle against a tough Calderdale side. They kept their heads, trusted the process, and moved the ball with pure confidence. 51–41 WIN!

M3 took on Chapeltown 2 and, despite some tough calls not going their way, they put their bodies on the line to secure a massive 47–47 DRAW

The scoreboard doesn't always tell the whole story. It was a challenging Saturday for Milford, but we couldn't be prouder of the grit shown across all three squads. While the results didn't go our way on paper, the effort on court was second to none.

​Milford 3 faced a tough match against a strong Castleford side, but their energy and heads never dipped.
