Enjoyed the British Championships? The next big event will be the England Championships to be held in Birmingham as part of FitFest. We are working hard to get all the qualification information out to you as soon as possible but to help your initial planning the qualification totals for this event will be 90% of the British qualification totals.

Congratulations to Andy Griffiths who just stepped off the platform at the Commonwealth Championships in India.
Andy opened his sn**ch on 148kg, missed 152kg then secured 155kg on his third attempt.
In the clean and jerk, Andy went three for three with 175kg, 180kg and 185kg.
This put Andy in second place for the sn**ch, and third place for the clean and jerk and with a 340kg total put him in third place overall, giving him the bronze medal.
Well done Andy! π₯
Congratulations to Cyrille Tchatchet II who just stepped off the platform at the Commonwealth Championships in India.
Cyrille sn**ched 150kg and 155kg, unfortunately missing his final attempt at 159kg.
In the clean and jerk, Cyrille went three for three, making 185kg, 190kg and 192kg.
This put Cyrille in second place for the sn**ch and first in the clean and jerk π₯π₯, and with a total of 347kg, gave him first place overall, giving him the gold medal π₯

Cyrille represents England tomorrow in the 96kg category at the Commonwealth Championships in Delhi, India.

Congratulations to Jon Chin who just stepped off the platform at the Commonwealth Championships in India.
Jon made his first two sn**ches of 121kg and 125kg, unfortunately missing his final attempt at 129kg.
Jon missed his clean and jerk opener at 158kg, but recomposed and made his second attempt of 161kg. He then unfortunately missed his final attempt at 169kg.
This gave him a 286kg total, putting him in second place for the total and the clean and jerk π₯π₯
Well done Jon!
Congratulations to Jenny Tong, who just stepped off the platform at the Commonwealth Championships in India.
Jenny had an easy sn**ch opener at 77kg, followed by a good lift 80kg. Unfortunately, she just missed out on her last attempt at 83kg.
In the clean and jerk, Jenny went 3 for 3 with 89kg, 92kg and 95kg.
This gave her a 175kg total, putting her in sixth place overall, all while recovering from an ACL tear!
Well done Jenny!

Good luck to the England and Wales weightlifting teams competing at the Commonwealth Weightlifting Championships between 11-16 July in Delhi, India.
Over 250 weightlifters from 20 countries will vie for medals at the competition.
