We’ve just closed our doors for the last time to the great and good cycling folk of West Yorkshire. It’s been an honour and a privilege to keep you all rolling. To assist your upgrades, to fix your broken bicycles and do our very best to try and get you out of the proverbial for your sportives, enduros and cycling weekends away.

We’ve performed over 6200 jobs for just over 2700 customers. We raised nearly £12,000 for St Gemma’s hospice, a cause close to our hearts. £1600 of that from the tin on the counter, where all the “just stick something in the charity tin” little jobs ended up.

We trained four mechanics, three to Cytech level two. One who used his qualified skills, knowledge and experience to travel the world.

We sponsored six riders, who did us proud in every race and event they entered, from 24hr solo MTB winners to the podiums they shared, our riders in orange and black made us beam with pride every pedal stroke of the way. Every rider that pulled on the orange and black and raced for “The other, chunkier, Team GB” you were bloody awesome too. Go

We have cannot count the friends we have made over the years. We’re going to miss you all.

The other, chunkier, Team GB

Apparently it's supposed to be a flag cracker this weekend. This is good news because: It's a bank holiday weekend again and you'll all be out riding your bikes, not being too sad we're shut for a few days.

So, we're closing Fri 23rd August 6pm as usual and back open Tuesday 27th 09:30 for more fun and games*

*Fun and or games are not guaranteed. This is Leeds after all. Nobody needs to get too excited. You might crack into a smile or something.

It's holiday time - for the first time in eight years we've taken a summer holiday. So, we're shut from Friday 26 July at 6.00pm until Monday 5 August at 9.30am. Al's cycling gently round Aviemore and providing the local midges with a food source, while Han gets her Mary Beard on in Rome swearing lots at old things. We'll appear refreshed and sickeningly tanned ready to crack on in a week. Have fun without us.

The workshop diary is now full until we get back from holiday. We are taking bookings from the 5th August onwards.

Two weeks from now we'll be shutting up shop for a week. I'll be dodging midges with Sarah north of the border and Hannah will be dodging tourists and ciao shouting vespa riders in Rome.

So if you're desperate for work doing get it booked in quick. Next week nearly full already.

Which means another shut Saturday for us. We will close tomorriw night 6pm as usual and re-open 09:30 on the 28th refreshed and eager to go.

Just landed in the shop is the Timber Mini Cowbell. One of those products that you either get or you're wrong ;) Switch in the upright position and it's silent, flick it down at the top of a busy trail and gently inform other trail users of your presence/incoming trail god abilities. Obviously sound is a good idea for the video... £25 to you and all the other good folk of cycling too.
