Three Valley Ladies Darts & Domino League

Sending condolences to the family and friends of Linda & Stephen Moorhouse following their recent passing from all at the Three Valleys Ladies Darts & Dominoes League. Linda played for our league many years ago.

It is with great sadness that we have to announce the shock passing of Yorkshire Darts legend Linda Moorhouse.

Linda was our most capped lady player and Yorkshires 2nd most capped player of all time having played her first game in 1985 and her 250th, and final match in Glamorgan the last game of last season (winning as was normally the case).
Linda was a key part of the successes of both the Yorkshire County Team and her Super League side the Misfits. Both teams winning more league titles than I can remember.
County weekends will be a worse place without her there.
Our thoughts go out to all of Linda's family and friends at this sad time

League tables as at 19/2/25

Morning Ladies, I would like to say thank you to all who helped sort out yesterday. Unfortunately, there were 5 players that didn't turn up, 4 of which I found out wasn't coming when trying to sort things out and 1 a no-show last night. We all know things can happen at the last minute and you can't make it, but if you know prior to the day could you please let me know so I could at least try and sort the draws out. Last night was unfair on the players as the draws were daft, 3 at one venue, and 6 at another. All I ask is, can you please let me have more notice if you know you're not coming, and I can then at least try and sort a fair draw out. Thanks Helen x

Hi Ladies I have just received a phonecall from Ryan the landlord at the Toby informing me they have unfortunately a very large funeral wake this afternoon and they think it may impact the games, as in no where to play. I just wondered if the ladies that are playing there wanted to risk going or to send 1 venue to the wike and the other venue to the moorend. Please let me know what you think. Thanks Helen xx
