BRCA 1:10th Off Road Nationals Round 3 Complete!

Robin Hood Raceway would hold round 3 and the team did an amazing job as both the 2 and 4wd layouts were super fun!

2wd: My was only the money from the start of the day. In round 1 of qualifying I managed to secure a 26 in round but unfortunately I wasn’t able to back this up as I couldn’t get another clean run in. I managed to line up 8th in the E and finish 46th overall so really happy with this result.

4wd: Again my was great all day. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a clean run in throughout the day so I lined up 10th in the F final. Starting at the back of the grid I knew I had nothing to lose in the end I made my car super easy to drive and managed to work my way through the grid and finish P4 just missing out on my aim of top 50 overall I would finish 54th.

Well done to the team who was there at the weekend some great results achieved from all

BRCA North East Regionals Round 2 Complete!

NEAM held a brilliant race meeting and both layouts were totally different for both classes which is great to see!

4wd was a steady day. As it was my 2nd time at NEAM it took me a while to get to grips with track. As the day went on my got faster and faster with every run. I would finish 6th overall.

2wd was a mega day battling it out every run fighting for the top spot. Archie was ballistic in both classes but I managed to take TQ in round 2 paired up with a 2 in round from round 1 I would line up 2nd on the grid for the final. After a bobble early on Chris Foster RC got through to 2nd which dropped me back to have a mega battle for 3rd position. Unfortunately after I was drilled on the last lap I would bring home 4th.
Despite this my was on the money all day this was proven in qualifying!!

Well done to Archie Bowman RC for dominating all weekend!

Difficult weekend at BRCA 1:10th Off Road Nationals Round 2 at BMR.

2WD was really difficult for me as it was my first time at the venue and definitely a place where track knowledge played a key part. I definitely had my work cut out.
Finishing 64th overall. Unfortunately just outside the top half but that’s racing.
My was on the money all day but due to speaker issues I didn’t finish one of my solid runs but unfortunately this does sometimes happen.

4WD was a much more successful day. As I had more track knowledge I knew where more bumps were and how the jumps flowed. I managed to finish 43rd overall and was super happy with this result.
Again my car was dialled all day and was super easy to drive. 😁

Creds to the whole BMR team and the BRCA for putting on this awesome event!

Round 1 of the Batley Buggy Club summer championship!

The meeting was steady due to the weather not being on our side. But I managed to take the TQ and WIN 🏆.

My was dialled from the get go. A few changes to the car throughout the day would see my times improve in every run.

Good to see that 7/10 cars in the A were all Yokomo! Well done to all.

My first ever BRCA 1:10th Off Road Nationals at Potteries!!

2WD on Saturday was very skill testing. With the grip levels changing every run made the day fun and interesting keeping everyone on their toes.

After a few changes to the brilliant I managed to qualify E4. After a brilliant battle I managed to finish the final in p2 placing me 42nd overall!

4WD was a lot easier as the grip level didn’t change much. My car was on the money from the get go. 🏎️

Again a few changes to make the car easier to push I would qualify E2 which I was super pleased with. After a move on lap one I would lead the race for the majority of the run and bring home P1 in the final placing me 41st overall! 😎

Both my cars were dialled all weekend and felt super comfortable.👌

Well done to everyone in the team I feel some great results have been achieved.

Batley Buggy Club held a mega weekend event and definitely broadcasted what they have to offer at the national later on in the season.

2WD would see me and Archie Bowman battling it out for TQ. After taking 2 rounds each Archie would have the faster time lining me up 2nd on the grid. After a mega battle and an error from myself Chris Foster RC would get through for 2nd and I would bring home P3. 😁

Congrats to griggs rc and Zach Whittleston Rc for both making their first regional A finals!! 😎👌

4WD would see changing weather conditions throughout the day. My car was on the money from start to finish lining me up 5th on the grid for the Final. After a great battle I would bring home P4.

Well done to Archie for the TQ&WIN in both classes 👊

Overall a brilliant weekend with both cars dialled from start to finish!!

Can’t wait for this!!

MB Raceway Winter Series Round 2-

Round 1 started off slowly due to old tyres producing masses of understeer ultimately placing me 13th overall.

After a few tweaks and new tyres, I saw an improvement after the second round and ended up placing 6th!

Again, another 6th in round for the third and final qualifier - which I was pleased with given the really strong group of drivers in the top heat!

With the level of drivers in the main I knew I was in for a difficult run. After a mega battle with Ben Stephenson RC I managed to finish the final where I started in 8th but after a DSQ I would be bumped up to 7th as a final result.

Super pleased with my today, a nice and easy drive all night from practice to the final.

Congrats to Jonny Skidmore RC for the TQ&WIN 🏆
