Spider update 🧡

I have been a bit slow on keeping you all updated with my 4 year old, I haven’t been as consistent as I would like to be!

He is such a good youngster as I haven’t done anything with him the week before this!

I talk about youngster ‘not having a mouth’ it’s a phase we use to explain they are very green in the mouth and figuring out the aids, so in situations a baby gets scared we don’t want to pull and scare them more 🧡

Yesterday we went to portroyal for the Bronze League Qualifier, Teddy was jumping his heart out in the heat to jump clear in the first round, unfortunately my riding wasn’t up to scratch costing up a pole in the first jump off but I was so pleased with Teddy 🧸🤎 Thank you for the surprise reel I really love it, the quality is 😍 I will be definitely booking one in for the future! If anyone else is going to Portroyal I would definitely check out for reels and pictures! ❤️

🧸🤎Teddy’s biggest problem is he’s such a reactive horse, he always has his guard up and he lets the littlest things stress him out therefore he never truly relaxes as he is always on alert 🚨

Don’t get me wrong we still compete in this tack ( as I prefer to be alive 😅) but schooling is at home is a start , my main goal is for him to trust me enough to relax 🧘‍♀️

I am so busy I forget to actually show little videos of me riding! I suppose I am a freelance rider and you guys would like to see me ride! 🦄

Working on a relaxed, happy session, keeping him straight, also changing the school movements so he has a variation, to keep his cheeky mind busy!

I have worked with this Pony from being backed to now and he has come a long way and maturing very well he is a massive credit to his owner 🤎

I come out the ring ever time like I have won HOYS and some people will probably think how ridiculous I look, but the happiness Teddy gives me after losing both my boys, will never be taken away from me 🤎
Even if it’s 80cm or 1m30 going in a ring on a horse that you love is already winning 🏆 🫶
