A good win for the 2s today!

We had a couple last minute changes to the team and great performances all round from everyone.

Today’s team!

Our 2nd team are away against Heslington today. Already looking like better weather than last week, so hoping for a good game of cricket as the end of the season is getting closer.

Unfortunately, the 1st team game has been cancelled today :(

Unfortunately both games today were beaten by the rain.

The 1st team batted first, reaching 161 all out until the rain came. A great knock from Matthew, hitting 62.

The 2nd team also batted first but were on and off for rain. James and Paul opening were going strong, and Jalandhar came in for a little while until we finished due to the weather.

Hoping for better weather for next Saturday as the seasons coming to an end!

The 1st team are away against Burn Cricket Club . While the 2nd team are home against Ovington Cricket Club .

With a busy weekend ahead, both teams are looking for a strong start in the upcoming cricket.

Cricket complete!!

Day 2 on tour!

First day on tour and a great win for saxton! We batted first, setting 203 runs, Seth with a great 51*. The lower order all putting on great and much needed scores.
Then onto fielding. Everyone chipped in with the ball today and Seth being strong behind the stumps. Ajax came out showing great abilities with the bat, however it wasn’t quite enough.
A brilliant first day on tour so far, being hosted by a lovely group of people and a lovely place.

Another Saturday another two games!

First team are away at . Over the years this has been a closing fought match between both teams bring out the best in both teams. Hopefully this continues.

Second team play at home against Hovingham. The team look to continue their undefeated record and looking to Lord Buck for more wickets who is on fire with 12 wickets in two games.
