Another Saturday another two games!

First team are away at . Over the years this has been a closing fought match between both teams bring out the best in both teams. Hopefully this continues.

Second team play at home against Hovingham. The team look to continue their undefeated record and looking to Lord Buck for more wickets who is on fire with 12 wickets in two games.

Season is Fast Approaching!

As the new season draws near, our senior teams are actively seeking new players of all abilities to support the continued growth and development of the club. We welcome both male and female players to join our senior sides, who play on Saturdays in Saxton, Leeds.

Our Ladies team is currently looking to strengthen its squad and would love to welcome new players. The team is made up of a fantastic group of individuals of varying abilities who share a passion for the game and a supportive, inclusive atmosphere.

We are proud of our excellent ground and facilities, which are of such a high standard that Saxton hosts the Yorkshire Youth Games throughout the summer, providing an outstanding playing experience.

Outdoor net sessions begin this Saturday, 11th April, following our Club Day. Additional sessions and fixtures are scheduled as follows:
• 15th April – Outdoor nets
• 18th April – Inter-club warm-up match
• 22nd April – Final net session before the season

We currently have two teams competing in the men’s leagues on Saturdays, as well as a women’s team playing on Sundays.

Both sections of the club feature county-level players, and we are looking to strengthen our squads as we continue building on our success—including back-to-back promotions for our first team.

Season fixtures have been released!

Back to back promotions for the first team. They are looking for their third promotion.

If you are wanting to come and join to help with progression of the club the first team and second team are looking for players.

Male or female we look to give players an opportunity to play cricket

Along with the ladies team who are looking to be competitive this year. If you want to play ladies cricket we can offer you a game of cricket.

The ladies section is looking for more players for the upcoming season.

It does not matter about ability they are wanting more women to come and have a game whilst having a laugh.

There is a wide range of ability in the team already with a few players only picking up a bat for the first time last season whereas some of the players are playing at county level.

The club is inclusive and wanting more women to join our fantastic club. I’m sure some of the current players will comment to give you their view about playing for Saxton Cricket Club

WINTER NETS ARE BACK for the juniors!

We are looking to grow our junior section this season.

A gorgeous setting for Seth’s first 50 in senior cricket also backing it up with a 5 wicket haul beating .

This win keeps us in the title race keeping the pressure on our rivals Crossgates.

A great game between two good teams we’d like to wish Londesborough players the best for the rest of the season. A huge thank you to the umpires for the game without them we wouldn’t have been able to play.

Saxton CC enjoying a great season so far a huge thank you to who supplied us with amazing Indian street food!

Some great races look forward to the end of season do where we will look to find a band to play and entertain our players and fans.
