⭐️HARRIERS HIGHLIGHTS - AUGUST ⭐️

It wasn’t all about our host track race this month (although we did bang on about it a lot didn’t we?). We also had Park run tourism - including its home at Bushy Park- milestones and PB’s, Meanwood Valley Trail, GRIM races, Unity 5k, Big Bear 10k, Iron Man Leeds, Leeds Dock Relay and York 10k. We’re stepping into September with a huge event in our race calendar this weekend at Leeds Country Way and our club championship starts too. Slow September? Not at Crossgates Harriers HQ 👟

‘Total Eclipse at the Start…’ 🌓
What a way to start tonight’s club run for our members with the eclipse taking place this evening. Colanders weren’t mandatory on tonight’s route, golden hour was 🌞

WHAT. A. DAY. We’re still on an absolute high from our host race yesterday. 255 of you took on the trails and hills of Temple Newsam in the blazing sunshine making it a tough course but did you show it? No… look at all those smiles on the course. Thank you to each and every one of you, your contribution goes towards the restoration of the track and future projects for it ❤️

🍓 LEEDS DOCK RELAY 👟
An absolute ocean of red with ELEVEN teams taking part in the Leeds Dock Running Club relay last night. Thanks to all those involved in making it a top notch race - we had an absolute blast and clocked up an abundance of laps between us. In true Harriers style we made a medal and had a post run social too! Same time next year yeah? 🏅
