💜 OCTOBER IS MENOPAUSE AWARENESS MONTH! 💜

This October, Active Leeds is raising awareness of menopause and encouraging open conversations about the changes it can bring. 🌸

Whether you’re experiencing menopause symptoms yourself, supporting someone who is, or simply want to learn more, come along to one of our drop-in sessions!

Our friendly team will be on hand to share information, support and advice in a welcoming, relaxed environment. 💬

Thanks to funding from the Leeds City Council Inner North East Community Committee we’re offering subsidised places for all children! 🙌

Careers in Leeds is open to anyone considering their next move — whether you’re looking for a job, training, an apprenticeship, or simply exploring career ideas.
At the event, visitors will be able to:
Meet employers and training providers from across Leeds
Explore a wide range of sectors and career pathways
Get practical support such as CV advice, interview tips and employability guidance
Learn about local jobs, courses and progression routes
A dedicated quiet hour for visitors with special educational needs and/or disabilities will be available between 12pm and 1pm.

Ready to go the extra mile?
We're excited to invite you to take part in the Technogym Run X Challenge and put your running skills to the test.
Whether you're a regular runner or just looking for a new fitness goal, this challenge is a great way to stay motivated, track your progress, and compete alongside other participants.
How it works:
Register for the Run X Challenge via the Technogym App.
Contact your nearest participating centre - John Smeaton, Armley LC, Pudsey LC, Garforth LC to book your race time slot
Log your runs during the qualification stage 23/10/23 - 23/1/27
Challenge yourself and celebrate your achievements.
Why take part?
✅ Increase your motivation and consistency
✅ Track your performance and progress
✅ Compete with friends and fellow members
✅ Be part of a fun and engaging fitness community
