Kata, is incredibly important, most than what most think, not only does it incorporate, speed, timing and precision, however the Kihon Bunkai basic application is far more sophisticated than what beginners think, which becomes evident over time, practice and repetition and understanding.

Thank you to the UK Martial Arts Show Bob Sykes Paul Barnett for offering me such a great opportunity to express my Karate on stage for the world to see, and happy that some have title me the 'Kata Man's, especially as I was a member of the England Squad back in 1993-1995. I am grateful and also appreciate that I shall once again be able to deliver more demonstrations on stage in 2027 alongside delivering a workshop to express and teach just a small fraction of the Blade Karate System.

Thank you UK Martial Arts Show 2026!

Our founder, Sensei Christopher “Blade” Daly, was honoured to be invited to the UK Martial Arts Show 2026, where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame and was awarded the Top Instructor Award!

Sensei Christopher also performed a demonstration as part of the event, where he incorporated our Blade Karate System.

It shows how becoming a leading martial arts instructor takes years of dedication and resilience, and we are delighted that Blade International Martial Arts Association has been recognised and represented at such a brilliant event.

We can’t wait til next year’s show already!
