What a great year it’s been! A big thank you to everyone who’s supported the club this season. Huge thanks to all our players, parents, coaches, volunteers, and club officials for the effort, commitment, and positive vibes at every session and match.

Our last junior Christmas training session was an absolute blast and the perfect way to wrap up the year!🎅🎅

We have some great news to share! The City of Leeds Water Polo Club - Sharks is thrilled to welcome Castleford Water Polo Club into our club.

Starting this season, we will have a combined Men's Team(Leeds-Cas) playing in Mens Conference Championship 1!
We are incredibly excited about this, and we believe it will open up opportunities for our juniors to step up and play at the men's level.

However, we cannot hide our sadness. Seeing a healthy established club like Castleford Waterpolo Club disappear is a clear and painful sign of the challenges facing water polo in the UK. It highlights just how difficult it is for clubs to keep going with minimal support from Swim England and relying entirely on the volunteers.

We're going to keep Castleford's spirit alive and are committed to making this new team a success.

What a great effort from our juniors today(U16s & U14s)! While we lost both games against City Of Sheffield Waterpolo, they played some brilliant water polo and we can definitely see the progress.

Another great game for our men's team! We took home a solid win tonight against Morley Water Polo Club B 23-12. This victory puts us in 1st position on the wakefield league table with two games left to go.

Our U12s got to try out our new goals(juniors) today in a friendly against Morley and what a game! It was the perfect way to break them in.
Big thanks to Morley Water Polo Club for coming all the way down. And a huge shoutout to the The Edge - University of Leeds pool team too.
Every single kid had a great time and it just shows how bright the future is!

As we approach the end of the year, we want to take a moment to reflect and express our gratitude to each and every one of you who has been part of our journey throughout 2024.
