Receiving a black belt is not the end of the journey; it marks the beginning of a new chapter. It carries the responsibility of setting an example of what a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner should be, both on and off the mats.

He started wanting to wrestle everybody through the walls but now has a very well-rounded and dynamic game. He embraced the GI and can do both GI and no-gi to a high standard, as proven time and again with victories in competition. He has developed into an excellent, coachable athlete, which shows the transformative power of BJJ. Well done!
