Happy birthday to Ruth.
Incredible coach, questionable singer. We love her anyway.

💪 Ready to feel stronger and more confident?
Two boys. Seven and five. Climbing on top of him at 40.
Will didn't come to Power chasing a six-pack. He came so he'd still be the one his kids couldn't pin down, wrestling on the carpet, keeping up on the trips, not paying for it the next day.
Three weeks in, he was already noticing the difference. It's carried on from there.
Proud to have you with us, Will. 💪
If you're 40+ and ready to feel a bit more like yourself again, link in bio to see if Power's a fit.
That's a wrap on the Tranmere Park Colour Run 2026 🌈
Warm-up done, paint thrown, ~200 runners home.
Massive thanks to PTA for having us back as sponsors and to every single one of you who came out to support such a brilliant cause.
See you next year! 🧡
Women have spent their whole adult lives being told to take up less space.
Eat less. Shrink yourself. Run further. Stick to Pilates. Don't lift heavy, you'll bulk up.
It was bad advice at 30. After menopause, it's the worst possible thing a woman can do.
Here's why.
When oestrogen drops in menopause, bones start losing density. Fast. The instinct most women have at this point is to do what's always worked before, more cardio, eat less, try harder.
None of it builds bone. Some of it actively strips it.
The only thing that protects bone density through and after menopause is loading it.
Lifting heavy things. Strength training, programmed properly for a woman in midlife.
This is the conversation we have with women in their first month at Power, and it's almost always the first time anyone's said it to them out loud.
That shouldn't be the case. But until it changes, we'll keep saying it.

Happy birthday to the man, the coach, Stevie. Have a great one.
Coaches notice things members don't.
Ruth and Erin on what they see, from the first session to the moment someone realises they belong here.
Happy birthday Erin
The coach who keeps us all in one piece. 🧡
Eight years in, Callum and Tom still argue about most things.
Hiring.
Programming.
What colour the walls should be.
Whether the music's too loud.
Somewhere along the way it worked.
Highs, lows, frustrations, triumphs.
Neither of them would've done it on their own.
Eight years on, Power's bigger than either of them.
And that's exactly how it should be.
In today's episode of "things we definitely needed for the gym"…
Six poles. One drops. Catch it. Don't drop it. That's the whole game.
Coaches are sorting out who's got the fastest hands this week.
Who's your money on? 👇
Helen, 48, on what changed when she walked in:
"Straight away I got my motivation back. I feel more confident. It's time to give back to me, really and be a bit more consistent."
Perimenopause + a busy job + a family = most women putting themselves at the bottom of the list.
Helen's done the opposite. Two or three sessions a week, consistently, with proper guidance on what actually works for her body right now.
No HIIT-vs-strength noise. No conflicting advice. J
ust clarity, a coach who knows what they're doing, and a room full of women in the same boat.
Proud of you, Helen. 👊
