Happy 50th anniversary to the Leeds Irish Centre! So proud to be apart of such a wonderful community! Most of my childhood memories were made in this place, not just Irish dancing but playing music, Gaelic football, watching the football, laughter & sadness, plenty of craic winding Christy up 😂 celebrating christenings, communions, confirmations, birthdays, Easter bonnets, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, weddings & life. Nothing is ever too much to ask and they always go above and beyond. Thank you for the last 50 years, here’s to the next! ❤️🥂❤️

A message from the Leeds Irish Community...
We now have a team of volunteers ready to lend a hand in the coming months. If you know somebody who could do with some help running errands, or just an offer of a listening ear, please get in touch. Even if someone doesn’t need help now, knowing that help is available if they need it will provide great reassurance, so please help to spread the word. None of us know when we’ll have to self-isolate, so now is the time for us to stick together and look out for each other.
Whether you are a young family in need of a hand, having to self-isolate, or know somebody of older age or is vulnerable and having to stay home, please get their permission for us to contact them. Even if it’s just a chat to know that help is available when they need it, it will be of comfort to know that we are here and ready to lend a hand.
You can give us a call at any time on 07904246531 or send us a message here and we will get back to you.
If you can help share this message on your social media pages, groups, phone list, or in your local community, please do. We are extremely proud of the community coming together and we are ready to do everything we can to help.
