How I ran 100 miles.
Not through fitness alone.
Not through motivation.
And definitely not on my own.
I got through it because of the people around me.
The friends who turned up in the middle of the night.
The family who stood by the canal for hours.
The people who broke the challenge down mile by mile when I had nothing left.
The messages, support, and encouragement that kept me moving forward.
At times, I genuinely did not think I could carry on.
But somehow, together, we got to 100.04 miles.
This was bigger than a run. It was a reminder of what people can do for each other when it matters most.
Thank you for every single bit of support.

Running Towards Better
Whether you're looking for running tips, nutrition advice, stretching routines, or just some motivation to get started, you'll find it here. EVERY STEP COUNTS!
100 miles. Done.
Started at 9pm last night…
Finished at 3:30 this afternoon.
And honestly…
My legs need replacing.
I’m in a huge amount of pain.
I hate running.
And I’m very close to setting all my trainers on fire.
(Just joking… sort of 😅)
But seriously — that was one of the toughest things I’ve ever done.
Physically… mentally… everything.
And I couldn’t have done it without all the support along the way.
This was all for , and if you’ve been following the journey, I’d really appreciate any support you can give.

100 miles. 67 completed. 33 to go. 🏁

Today’s the day.
All final checks are done.
Everything is in place.
There’s no turning back now.
I’m heading home for a bit of rest, and then at 10pm tonight I’ll start my attempt to run 100 miles non-stop along the Huddersfield Canal.
This is what it’s all been building towards — the training, the early mornings, the long runs, the preparation.
Now it’s time to deliver.
If you’ve been following the journey, I’d really appreciate your support right now.
Please donate if you can — the Epilepsy Society needs your support.

Let’s do this.
Running Towards Better — this is , this is the , this is what is all about, all in support of and the ultimate moment.
Final checks done at the canal.
Met with the team, made sure everything is in place, and the energy is exactly where it needs to be. Everyone’s ready.
The plan is simple — start at 10pm tomorrow, run through the night, and keep going all the way through to around 2pm Wednesday afternoon.
There’s no turning back now.
This is the moment where all the training, the early mornings, the long runs, and the sacrifices come together.
No more talk — only action.
I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s supported this journey — whether you’ve liked, followed, shared, or donated to . It genuinely means a lot and has helped carry me to this point.
If you’d still like to support as I take on this and push through the , you can do so here:

Running Towards Better — this is what and is all about.
5 days to go.
This morning was a 5am easy run as part of the taper — alarm set for 4am, getting used to what’s coming.
I was joined by my good friend Wojciech (whose birthday it is today 🎉) and Matt, who’s just returned from a serious Achilles injury. After surgery and months of rehab, today was his longest run back — which makes this one even more meaningful.
The run itself was steady, relaxed, and exactly what it needed to be.
Right now, it’s all about keeping the body ticking over, staying healthy, and arriving ready.
Everything’s still feeling good.
And I guess this early start is just a reminder of the sleep deprivation that’s coming when I start at 10pm on the 28th and run through the night.
5 days now until I attempt to run 100 miles non-stop along the Huddersfield Canal for Epilepsy Society.

Running Towards Better.
6 days to go.
Everything’s going well, and I’ve now started the tapering process — easing things back slightly so the body is ready for the big day.
I just wanted to say a genuine thank you to everyone who’s been watching, supporting, liking and sharing the videos so far — it really does mean a lot.
As we head into the final few days, if you can continue to like, share, or even make a small donation, it would be massively appreciated.
On 29 April, I’ll be attempting to run 100 miles in one day for Epilepsy Society.

Running Towards Better.
7 days to go.
Today was all about getting miles in.
Out at 6am before work,
then another run at lunchtime,
and one more as soon as I got home.
In total — just over 21 miles.
Not because I had to…
But because I wanted to push the body
and see how it responds this close to the event.
The good news?
Everything’s feeling okay.
No major aches or pains —
just the kind of sore muscles you’d expect at this stage.
And more importantly…
I’m starting to feel confident.
Because with something like 100 miles,
confidence comes from the work you’ve already done.
7 days now until 29 April.
Final preparations. Final focus.

Running Towards Better.
Lunchtime run today was all about route planning.
I headed down to the canal to check distances and turning points for the big day.
One full loop is coming in at around 7.3 to 7.4 miles.
Which actually works really well.
It means to hit 100 miles,
I don’t need to repeat it too many times.
Simple. Controlled. Manageable.
The route itself is ideal.
Flat.
Tarmacked.
Consistent underfoot.
The only real challenges?
A few dog walkers…
And the odd electric bike flying past.
But apart from that — it’s straightforward.
Right now, I’m feeling strong.
I’m focusing on heart rate, listening to my body,
and making sure I don’t push too hard and risk injury before the big day.
Because at this stage…
It’s about arriving ready.
With 29 April just around the corner, everything is starting to come together.
