We are delighted to announce that the Carnegie School of Sport is hosting this year’s European Endurance Conference from Friday 13th – Sunday 15th September.
The conference is part of the European Athletics Coaching Summit Series, and our theme is High Performance Science and Practice in Women's Endurance Events (800m-marathon).
The conference has a focus on sharing information specific to female athletes, and sessions will include a mixture of lectures, interactive workshops, and practical demonstrations.

In partnership with Run for All who are organising the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2023, the Carnegie School of Sport at Leeds Beckett University is offering a series of informative talks and workshops from our in-house coaches and sports scientists on key aspects of training for and completing a marathon.
These talks and workshops will be held at the Carnegie School of Sport Building on Leeds Beckett University’s Headingley campus. The talks and workshops are free to all Leeds Marathon entrants.
The Carnegie School of Sport will also be providing a range of high-quality sports science services and clinics specially designed to provide runners with additional insight and information to fine-tune and direct their training programmes.
