Cafe is back!!!!! Kind of….

After much demand and hungry bellies for miles around, we have almost got to the point of reopening the cafe. From tomorrow we’ll be doing cooked breakfasts and breakfast baps, the much loved pulled pork sandwich and….yesssss….the widely acclaimed avo on toast is back!!!

Full menu coming soon….. And RE:launch party to be announced…. Keep your eyes peeled 👀👀😋

All bikes come fully serviced, any worn parts are replaced, comprehensive warranty and a free service in the first year. We’ll also take them back in part exchange when you’re finished with em!

So who’s coming out for a ride this weekend?? Bramley Wheelers Cycling Club Leeds have 6 rides going out! Remember we are open Saturday 9am to 6pm and Monday 10am to 4pm. Hope to see loads of bicyclers out n about 🚴🏽‍♂️❤️

We have 6 rides to choose from this Easter Weekend all meeting at Proper Bike Shop on Stanningley Road from 8.45 for a 9am roll out. Here’s what we have on offer (remember you don’t need to be a member to get involved!):

Saturday 20th April:

Social to Bingley ~30 miles @10-12mph av
C ride to Tadcaster ~45 miles @12-14mph av
B ride to Birkin ~55 miles @14-16mph av

Sunday 21st April:

C ride to Knaresborough ~50 miles @12-14mph
B ride to Burnsall ~55 miles @14-16mph av
B+ ride to Howden ~100 miles @16-18mph av

To find out more comment on here or send us a dm. All you need is a functional bike, nutrition, and the willingness to have fun and turn the pedals! Choose the right group and off you go, it’s as easy as that! For those that have never ridden in a group before it may be best to go in the social ride, but if you have group riding experience any group is good, just make sure you’re present for the ride briefing.

One very happy customer leaving the shop today with a very sexy bike. When someone sees your bike you want them to think “what the hell is that??!!” And this does not disappoint. Riding a bike is as much about exercise or transport as it is about emotional connection and the feelings that come when woman/man and machine come together. After a very traumatic few months I’ve started to sleep properly again, and, recently I’ve even remembered a dream! In that dream I vividly recall eating marmalade on toast with a proper cup of Yorkshire tea. And it felt good. So, today, I am “living the dream” 🙏🏽 (albeit for around 47 seconds) And you know what? It feels just as good as it did in my dream ❤️ Loads of changes at work- new branding, new opening hours, and a strong focus on who we are and what we do rather than just what we sell.
