I’m thrilled to say that the light is getting brighter at the end of the very dark tunnel I have been through.
Past pupils & parents invited on
Saturday April 5th 2pm-4pm
(if you can’t make this time please let me know) to come along & say their final farewell’s to the building we have called home for over 50yrs.
We will then have one more week in our studio before I turn the key for the last time & move into our new home across the street.

Such sad news 🥲 a shock to us all to learn about the passing of Janet Pharaoh. A past pupil of Mullen Theatre Studios & artistic director of Moulin Rouge for many years. Janet passed away in Paris on Monday evening 3rd March our love & thoughts are with her family. 💔 # # #

Auditions are done for Ella! We're so proud that she was offered places at these three prestigious colleges 🙂

Ella has accepted her place to continue her training at Bird College in September ..

End of an era. Beginning of something new.
Mullen dance school in its 76th year has news to spread.
We have been in our current premises for more than 50 years & between Christmas & New Year I had a phone call to tell me our building had been bought by property developers.
I’m sure you can all imagine this was a bombshell. Since this time I have kept this news to myself & for 2 months it has been eating away at me causing much stress & anxiety. I have searched for alternative premises without much success because most just weren’t suitable for children.
Last Saturday I was able to bring my people together & let them know Mullen School WILL continue.
I have been so lucky to meet with Carl the owner of the building literally across the street from where we are now. He has kept this to himself for which I am very grateful & we have come out with a timetable to suit.
Our new space is in the Kinetic building.
We will have a new name
Mullen Dance @ Kinetic
It is with much regret that I will lock our building on April 12th.
On April 5th we will have an open day at the studio for all who have passed through our building in the past to come & say their goodbyes.
On April 16th we will move into our new premises to start a new phase of Mullen.
YES through the tears there is a rainbow & I hope we will all be happy & settle to a new horizon.

My fur baby Stanley’s 3yrs old today. You all know he means the world to me. Thank you for loving him as much as I do. He has got me through some tough times. 🥰🐶 # # #
