Team Manager Chris Marsden has named a squad of 12 to represent the Bentley Drains Bradford Premier League in their under-21 clash with Yorkshire at New Farnley on Wednesday, 6pm.

It was another strong weekend for the First XI, who faced two tough tests — away at Woodlands in the league on Saturday and then at home to Bankfoot in Sunday’s Priestley Cup quarter‑final.

At Woodlands, Ricky Priestley led the way with a brilliant 71, striking six fours and four sixes at a strike rate of 106, while Archie Scott added a valuable 60, mixing power and patience with three fours and three sixes.

Then on Sunday, the lads carried that momentum into cup action — Archie Phillipson top‑scored with a composed 81 featuring twelve boundaries, and Archie Scott continued his fine form with an unbeaten 67*, steering the side home with nine fours and a strike rate of 91.

Two days of quality cricket, big contributions across the order, and plenty of confidence heading into the next round.

This weekend brings a huge set of fixtures for Pudsey St Lawrence as all senior sides head into an important stretch of league and cup cricket. On Saturday, the First XI travel to Woodlands looking to protect their position at the top of the table, where they sit level on points with three other sides in a tightly contested Bradford Premier League race. The Second XI are back at Tofts Road for their league match against Woodlands, aiming to put in a strong performance and build confidence ahead of their cup tie the following day. Meanwhile, the Third XI head to Mayfield carrying their impressive unbeaten run, determined to keep that momentum going as they continue their excellent start to the Dales Council League season.

Sunday then shifts the spotlight to knockout cricket, with both senior men’s sides competing in their respective quarter‑finals. The First XI return home to host Bankfoot in the Priestley Cup quarter‑final, a big occasion at Tofts Road as they look to push on towards the semi‑finals. The Second XI travel to New Farnley for their Priestley Shield quarter‑final, a challenging away tie but one this group will fully believe they can win.

A massive weekend ahead — league points on Saturday, cup dreams on Sunday.

Pudsey St Lawrence Cricket Club is proud to announce that Oliver Moore and Sam Russell have been selected to represent Yorkshire Under14s & 15s.

Selection to the Yorkshire pathway is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the talent, hard work and dedication both players have shown throughout their cricketing journeys. To be chosen amongst the county's best young cricketers is something they should be immensely proud of.

This achievement is also a reflection of the support provided by their families, teammates and coaches, who have all played a part in their development both on and off the field.

Everyone at PSLCC would like to congratulate Oliver and Sam on this well-deserved recognition. We look forward to watching them represent Yorkshire this season and wish them every success in the White Rose.

The Thirds are still unbeaten this season and return home looking to extend their streak.
Confidence is sky-high, and they’ll be eager to keep the momentum rolling in front of the home crowd.

🟡 Ladies XI — Home vs Bradford Park Avenue
The Ladies are flying — undefeated and already qualified for the Archer Cup finals!
They host Bradford Park Avenue at Tofts Road on Sunday, 1pm start.
A brilliant campaign so far, and they’ll be looking to finish the group stage in style.
