O’Donnell Sensei, myself & Mark T (Sorry Debz for not mentioning you. As you already practice up there I was at a loss how to include you. So here is your shout out 🤣) we’re lucky enough to be invited up to a Keiko in Newcastle over the weekend.

4 hours, of very good practice with experienced kendoka. I know everyone, got alot out of the day.

Great to see old friends and make new.

Another weekend of gradings, and I am happy to say another grading success.

This time for Steve Corder, who successfully passed his Sandan over the weekend in Stoke-On-Trent.

Congratulations, Steve !!! Very well deserved, and all the extra effort and Keiko clearly paid off.

Congratulations, to all our friends in who also passed and commiserations to those were not successful.

A good Keiko last night, and final practice before the Stoke-on-Trent seminar and Grading at the weekend.

Jo Petrie came for a visit and it was like he had never been away 😌

Petrie Sempai is one of the first people I ever met and practiced with when I started kendo 20+ years ago.

It was great to see him back, and look forward to many more practices.
