Chairman Andy Hey spoke about the move -
“Obviously we’re disappointed to lose a player of Rinor’s quality and he was a fan favourite. Last year we battled off clubs from a higher level for Ri who has always had the desire to play at the highest level possible.

We had agreed that should a club come in at the end of the season from a higher level we wouldn’t stand in Ri’s way. A move to newly promoted Emley is a great fit for both Emley, Ri and Garforth and we wish him all the best - Thanks for everything Ri”

Versatile centre back Jordan Emery has re-signed for the upcoming season. 👏

Jordan has made a big impact since joining in the 23/24 promotion season .
Playing first as an emergency striker and then an attacking full back, his goals helped Town to the playoff places.

Hopefully he'll be working on some new goal celebrations as we speak 😁
