JAZZ Our adult classes appeal to all ages and abilities.
If you are looking to start a new hobby, or continue learning an old hobby from your youth- you have definitely come to the right place! Our Adult Classes are run as courses, purely due to the fact (a) we want to attract the same clientele across the course period so we can actually make you learn something throughout the period- rather than ‘starting over’ each week if we have a different set of
clientele and (b) it ensures the course can run financially for our instructors and hall. Adult classes are purely fun, fitness and no pressure (with lots of giggles). Who cares if you have two left feet!? Who cares if you have no rhythm or coordination? We will try our very best to get out the dancer in you to ensure you have a great (sweaty) time. For those born to perform (not everyone but those who are interested....) every summer (our next show will be March 19th 2016) adult clientele are offered the opportunity to perform some routines in a professional working theatre (St Georges Concert Hall). Socially, it is a fantastic experience, and a great day for all involved (those who want to be). Leisure wear is absolutely fine. There is no set uniform for our adult clients! Trainers/pumps or jazz shoes/sneakers are advised for Street Jazz. There is ABSOLUTELY no need to purchase any special shoes! If you are tapping- it goes without saying it's hard to tap without tap shoes. Our classes appeal for complete beginners to those with little experience (except Tap and Ballet where previous knowledge is required). The classes will only run with a minimum 8 people booked per class thus there is an online booking system in place. Classes are £3.50 each. A discount of 10% is offered for if you book three or more classes that we offer- Tap, Jazz, Street and Ballet.
