Tang Soo Do Pudsey

We also saw our TSD family from across the pond at the seminar today. Master Kelly Shaver has competed with a handful of our Team Pudsey squad in the past and is now the head instructor for the US, so it was great chance to catch up!

Furthermore, Team USA members and talented martial artists Joseph and Prarthana made for some formidable opponents not long back at the 2025 World Championships. So getting the chance to train with them both at todays seminar was a fantastic experience!

A fantastic day at the ITSDF seminar in Watford!

Today was a truly international event with our wider Tang Soo Do family making appearances from the USA, South America and several countries across Europe to name but a few!

It was an intensive, non stop and action packed day with great training that put all of us through our paces. As always we're particularly proud of our team from Pudsey and Region 2 who conducted themselves brilliantly to get the most from the day.

Events like this are invaluable. Not just for seeing old and new friends, but for providing a rare opportunity for new insights and collaborations within our martial arts community that we may otherwise miss. So make the most of them when you can!

FAO: Students across Region 2

Starting on the 30th of September a new class will be starting in Huddersfield, replacing Thursday evenings Brighouse class.

The venue is:
The Zone, Thistle Street HD1 6PT.
This class will run from 19:00 to 20:30

Hello all, it looks like we're going to have a fantastic contingent from Pudsey and Region 2 heading to Watford next month for the National Championships! Our largest competition of the year.

There'll be lots of familiar faces and support at this tournament so whether you compete 3x a year or just once in your martial arts career there's no time better than now to jump in and try it out.

*If Master Tang or your class instructor has told you that you'll be grading, make sure you get your forms and fees back ASAP throughout this week, if you haven't already!*

Hello everyone! This is going to be an exciting one right on our doorstep!

Typically, midway through and towards the end of the year in Region 2, we hold senior gradings. While not exclusively for higher grades, these gradings are where blue belts test for red, red belts for black, and black belts for subsequent Dan grades. It's an exceptional demonstration of the dedication, hard work and skill that each of you put into your training and shows the level we're confident you can all one day reach!

A handful of our very own from Pudsey, will be joining our other friends and training partners from regional classes, and grading this Saturday.

So please, If you can, take the opportunity to come along, support your classmates, get to know our friends within the region, and see what lies ahead for you as you progress through your martial arts journey. This is a rare opportunity with such ease of access for Pudsey students, so try make the most of it.

Dan grades and seniors, as always, but even more so for these events, please come along ready to support all our budding red, black and senior Dan grades on their big day!
