With over 21 years of experience we have been here teaching children of all ages a wide variety of dance styles from ballet jazz and tap to street dance.
Established in 1997 with the mission to allow children to learn about dance in a safe and fun environment while still teaching them a firm understanding of certain set techniques among different disciplines. We believe in giving children the ability to express themselves through movement in a safe and spacious environment while ensuring that the atmosphere is still as fun and friendly as ever.

This is a must watch for parents of dancers and students or anyone considering sending their child to dance classes. This short video (15 minutes or so) explains how attending dance class is far more than just enjoying dance. How about all the life skills you'll pick up along the way?

Just finished adjudicating at the Lofthouse Festival 2020. Two challenging weekends with storms Ciara and Dennis causing issues - In my efforts to get to and from the venue in Airedale I had to negotiate a fallen tree, an accident diversion, a flood diversion and to cap it all I got my stiletto caught in a grate as I exited on the penultimate day. Some lovely people came to my rescue with my shoe being the only casualty! But it was all worth it. The standard of work was amazing. I love my job!
Congratulations to all our pupils on their recent examination success. All pupils entering ballet, tap and modern grades achieved merit or distinction. Brilliant! Let's keep it going.
Fantastic weekend at the Aspire Festival in Rothwell. Amazing standard. 50% of our entries secured a place and we also came home with some silverware. Well done, Team Dancetec. Keep it going!!!
