🔴 Here at Harry Holland Racing we have some very exciting news to share with you all, for 2025, 😁
with some very tough negotiations 🧐 over the last few months, I now have got Reece Lomax as my mentor for all of 2025, and the Calender is going to be very explosive to say the least,
so watch this space!!! 👀
We started the new year at PFI TVKC ice braker Round,
We were all buzzing with the new arrival to the team I.e Reece Lomax,
But what was about to happen this weekend we had no idea but we all pulled together as a great team
We all headed of to PFI on Thursday night to get ahead of the game I.e to get some practice time in, on the Friday
ready for the weekend,
But this was about to change very fast, 🙈
On making sure everything was a 100% correct the evil eye of Reece lomax spotted a huge problem with the kart!!!
The chassis had a crack/brake In the way that it could not be used/raced for the weekend, with alot of head scratching and a few phone calls, Derek Walker the CEO of leading solvents supply's limited came to the rescue, along with Warwick from strawberry racing limited who managed to supply a new chassis, but that was the start of it all,
The next challenge was how do we get a new chassis to the track??
Everyone was flat out, so the only way to make everything happen was for Reece lomax to drive my dad back home to pick up another car then to drive to strawberry racing limited in Sheffield to pick up a new chassis then to take it to PFI, this obviously soaked up alot of time so the intended practice day on the Friday didn't happen,
Saturday Practice we were still struggling to get the kart ready as my seat needed fitting, with all the pressure we ended up having to fit my old seat to my new kart!! Rendering i missing my first practice session on the Saturday!!!
So All sorted,
Second Practice session went well considering it was a brand new chassis,
third session we hit another problem while everything had been checked and the kart started in designated area, when the kart was on the dummy grid it failed to start!!!
It ended up been a starter motor problem, even tho the weather was against us and so was the timing Reece lomax had no choice but to fit my best race engine, not what we wanted considering the weather conditions,
on the qualifying i managed to qualify 15th out of 57 karts, not to bad for a new chassis that we didn't know how it wouldn't behave, as all chassis are different
Sunday warm up we hit yet another problem the engine just wouldn't start yet again but we did repair my starter motor and we put my wet engine back on, it has been one of those weekends!!!,
So yet again dad/ Reece Lomax had no choice to put my best engine back on, again not what we wanted, i did my usual and got into the A final with flying colours happy day's,
it looked like we were now going in the right direction at last
The final
The weather was against everyone. the wet tyres weren't brilliant so we opted to fit a brand new set (then we released it wasn't the best option we all made but thsts racingfor you)
On the rolling start my throttle stuck flat out rendering me having to run off the track avoiding causing accident so i ended at the back of the grid,
I managed to sort myself get back onto the track , then i managed to get from last to a good way up into the rest of the race drivers but then he got fired off by another driver!!!
putting me at the back of the race yet again!!!
In the end i finished 27th out of 34 karts on grid, overall it was a huge challenge that was thrown at us all
but as we do as a team brush ourself down and move on to the next race.

🟠TVKC Round 6 - PFI🟠
This weekend i ventured down the PFi for the Penultimate round of the championship where i sit P14 in the standings.
There was a huge grid of 63 juniors on track and i felt positive about what is going to happen this weekend.
Saturday Practice consisted of fairly mid pack and top 15 lap times and i was fairly happy with the progress I’ve made considering where i was 3 months ago.
Qualifying was decent where i saw myself quail P14 in group and P30 overall, a slight misjudgment on the final lap saw my average drop but if it was based on the 1 lap then i would’ve been another 10-15 places higher. Quail results saw me starting P15 in both of my heats on Sunday.
Heat 1 🟠 P15-P9
Heat 2 🟠 P15-P12
Very positive heats especially heat 2, on lap 1 coming under the bridge i got pushed wide and right into the grass almost fipping the kart this saw me drop drastically down to p29 and everyone else had a 6 second gap which i rapidly closed down as i was 25th by lap 2 and just kept climbing from there. finishing p15 on track and p12 after penalty’s.
Final 🟠 P21-P15
Very chaotic final. and mega frustration as My kart wouldn’t turn over to start on the dummy grid !! as it seemed like there was a problem with the starter motor, so last ditch attempt to get it started , my Dad picked it up and dropped it on the floor and it finally turned over and started, with this i didnt do a rolling out lap and started from the pits at the back of the grid, the heavens opened on the last 2 laps leading to a red flag, everyone was slicks in the wet and sliding everywhere. they red flagged the last lap with not even 100 meters left of racing to go, if we crossed the line we would’ve been P7 but due to going back a lap i finished my weekend in p15.
Just want to thank my Dad on the spanners 🛠️ this weekend, the rest of the team for the support on and off the track, it was good to see Graham and Tracy back again, and Reece for help as and when you could, it boosted my confidence massively.
Onto the next one

This weekend I crossed the Welsh border and headed to Llandow for my first time and found myself on the podium again.
we participated in Fridays practice as it was my first time at the track. Friday practice was dry and it was awful, i lacked mega pace in the dry.
On Saturday practice the heavens had opened and i was absolutely flying in the wet placing top 5 in every session on times, i was hoping for the wet come Raceday as i had seen what i can do in the wet at this track.
Sunday was raceday and we were set for a 7th, 15th and 3rd place start in my 3 random grid heats.
Heat 1 🔵 P7-P2 (Fastest Lap🟣)
Heat 2 🔵 P15-P3 (+10s ⬇️ P9)
Heat 3 🔵 P3-P1
again Raceday was wet and i was once again showing my dominance in the wet. I felt very comfortable with the setup. my heat results saw me with 96 points putting me in P2 for the final behind local lad Harris Roberts
Final 🔵 P2-P3
Unfortunately losing a place to a very quick championship leading in Alex Fraser who had had a dominant display all weekend, to say this is my first tome at the track i was extremely impressed with how this weekend had planned out and how far i had come from Friday come the end of Sunday.
Much thanks to The IPKC for another brilliantly organize weekend, its all to play for in the final round at clay pigeon with the top 5 separated by 51 points also thanks to my Dad for all his hard work and effort put in during this very difficult weekend.

🟠PFI (TVKC) - Club Round 5🟠
This weekend i took to PFi Once again to try and avenge a very difficult last couple of meetings at both Kartmasters and IPKC Fulbeck.
Saturday practice i was showing very strong pace, placing top 5 consistently in my group. Saturday also consisted of a qualifying
Quali🟠 P27 (Class)
Meaning i started both my heats on sunday in P18.
Sunday started out wet for the warmup.
Heat 1🟠 P18-P12 ⬇️P19 with penalty
Heat 2🟠 P18-P5
Fairly dominant heats all things considered. this saw me starting 15th in the final, very good starting position setting me up for a very strong weekend.
Final🟠 P15-P19
Unfortunately crashing after making my way up as high as P8 in the 4th lap but a 6 Kart pileup saw me stuck and down in P27, still fighting my way back up to P19, Very gutted after showing such strong pace all weekend. we will come back strong next time.
Huge thank you to my mechanic Reece Lomax for making this weekend successful, cant wait to build on whats going to become something strong.

🔵 LMR50 Independents Cup - Whilton Mill 🔵
This weekend i returned to Whilton Mill for the 2nd time this year to try and return to winning ways at another perfectly and well organized IPKC event.
Saturday practice, since session 1 the pace was there and looking very promising, setting top 3 pace all day. The kart felt perfect and the track/weather seemed to be on my side.
The grids were strong. Juniors were Split into Group A and Group B for the whole weekend, I was in Group B come raceday.
Sunday Raceday consisted of 3 random grid heats, a group final, and a class final.
Heat 1 🔵 P6-P1
Heat 2 🔵 P18-P16
Heat 3 🔵 P4-P3
Some certainly good racing from everyone, with some very high standards on Track unfortunately heat 2 saw me make my way up to 12th to then unfortunately got I taken off track by another driver at the exit of christmas.
Group B Final 🔵 P5-P1
Found my way up to 1st 4 minutes into the race and managed to pull a good gap, the pack behind me were holding each other up so the gap was only going to increase towards the final couple laps i started to tire but still kept pushing to see the checkered flag first
Junior Showdown Final 🔵 P2-P2
It was a very dominant racing, and i am so happy with my performance this weekend, i return home with 2 trophies and plenty of smiles.
Massive thank you to my mechanic Reece and mentor for the weekend and for the help and support throughout the weekend, we would be nowhere near where we finished without you, also a big thank you to rest of my family for everything this weekend
Also huge thank you to Lizzy Mentier for allowing me to test your engine this weekend for Raceday and to the team at DHR for jigging my kart at the last minute
