East End Park WMC FC

Reserves put last weeks result behind them to get a 2-2 draw away to Wyke Wanderers. Richard Boafo marked his return to East End Park by scoring his first goal for the club. Ollie Winter got Park's other goal

Both teams had to settle for draws yesterday. First Team came from 1-0 down to draw 1-1with Leeds Centralians with Liam Robinson scoring the equaliser.

Reserves cruised into 3-0 lead in the opening forty minutes in their game against Tingley Athletic with goals from Levente Mácsay, James Cowlam and Adam Middleton and were looking good for three points at the interval. Tingley then scored three goals in a ten minutes spell mid-way through the second-half to turn the game on its head. both teams pushed for a winner neither could break the deadlock.

The first team picked up their first win of the season beating Aberford Albion 2-0. James Nelson gave Park the lead with a good finish and then Luke Coates marked his return with an early contender for goal of the season with a brilliant long distance strike shortly before half-time.

East End Park AFC is a long established football club (over 100 years) with it's own ground and a base at East End Park WMC. We have a good set of lads at the club but are always on the look out for new players who want to play at a good level of local amateur football

Today we heard the sad news that former player Brian Lascelles passed away after a short illness. Brian (front row, second from right) played for our club in the 1960s.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to his family for their sad loss. R.I.P
