British Rowing Masters Championships 2026

Our ladies quad stepped up to race in a higher category against some seriously strong competition and seriously strong winds. An incredible performance from Isobel, Jacky, and Alicia 👏 Racing up a category takes guts, and these three had plenty of it. We couldn't be prouder.

Cleddau River Marathon — 22 miles through Milford Haven Waterway to Haverfordwest

Meanwhile, our own Jim Freeth quietly decided a normal Saturday wasn't enough and took on 22 miles of open waterway. Twenty-two Miles! In a rowing boat. 🌊 Phenomenal effort, Jim — you absolute legend.

This is what Masters rowing looks like at NSRC — turning up, digging deep, and making the club proud no matter what the challenge. A brilliant weekend all round! 💪

🚣 Chester Regatta — DONE. And what a day it was!

Legs like jelly. Arms like wet spaghetti. Massive smiles all round. 😄

To every single one of our competitors today.. Every stroke counts, every race matters, and every one of you should be properly proud of yourself tonight.

But the competitors are only half the story. 👇

To our brilliant helpers — the ones who, launched, rigged, fetched, carried, pointed people in the right direction, and generally held the whole show together taking our fantastic NSRC to Chester Regatta simply doesn't happen without you. You didn't race today, but you made racing possible. That's huge. 🙌

It takes a whole club to have a day like this, and today we had exactly that.

One of our rowers Meg went to Peterborough regatta on Sunday pairing up with her friend Martha from Nottingham and union rowing club and winning the w2x🥇🙌🏼well done ladies 😁

We’ve had a great day today at Trentham regatta. All our team have worked together and helped each other out which is great to see. Well done to everyone taking part and especially to our winners today,the opj13 4x+ winning their first race,op j18 2x in another all north staffs final,wj18 2x winning in the 18 age group with a 16 & 17 year old and the wj14 4x+ our last winners of the day 🙌.
Most cups goes to Jess for winning a race and coxing two race winners hopefully you haven’t lost your voice tomorrow.
