Happy New Year! We need a few more vounteers to help us marshal the Charnwood Hills Race in a few weeks time. Can you give up a few hours of your time between 09.30 - 14.30 on Sunday 01st February to help out? Entries open on Sunday 23rd November at 8pm over on EntryCentral. They usually sell out very fast (often in under 20 minutes) so make sure to be ready on time.

If you want to guarantee yourself an entry for the 2027 race you (or someone you know) could volunteer to help on the race day (particularly with marshalling). Volunteers get a guaranteed place for the next year's race which can be transferred to a friend or family member. Contact our volunteer co-ordinator [email protected]

37th Charnwood Hills race on Sunday 2nd February 2025 The course is approx 14 miles long and follows public footpaths and open country involving 1,200 feet of ascent over Bradgate, Broombriggs and Beacon Hill Country Parks.

Thanks to some queries from keen eyed runners we've found a mistake in the way the men's team results were being calculated. We were only counting teams of at least 4 people (which used to be our minimum), but we should have been counting teams of 3. We've fixed the scoring system and republished the men's team results on the website - https://www.bowlineclimbingclub.co.uk/hills-race

Apologies to those teams who's results have been affected.
