🌧️🛶 Week 5 AQA unit award was all about RESCUES! 🛶🌧️

And these young people absolutely didn’t disappoint! 💪

Despite the cold and rain, they got stuck in, practised new skills, supported each other and learned how to stay safe on the water. 🌊

There was plenty of teamwork, laughter and determination — proving that a bit of British weather won’t stop this group! 😄

We’re so proud of how far they’ve come and the confidence they’re building each week.

👏 Well done everyone — safe, skilled and ready for the next adventure! 🌿🛶

🌿 Home Ed – Week 4: Finding Balance & Confidence Together 🌿

Week 4 of our Home Ed sessions was all about finding balance, building confidence and supporting each other.

From trying something new to encouraging a friend, there was plenty of problem-solving, teamwork and those little moments of “I can do this!” 💚

We love seeing the children grow in confidence week by week — learning that sometimes you wobble, sometimes you fall, and sometimes you need a helping hand… but you can always have another go.

Outdoor learning gives us the space to explore, challenge ourselves and discover what we’re capable of, together. 🌳🔥

Another brilliant morning at LOPC!

🌊 6 WEEKS OF WATER SKILLS STARTS HERE! 🛶

Our first session of six3 weeks on the water has begun – and what a great start! 🙌

Before we even got near the water, our young people took responsibility for their own safety. They put on their own buoyancy aids and checked each other’s safety – teamwork, independence and good habits from the very beginning. 👏

Then it was time for a quick warm-up… and the big question:

What skills have you already got? 🤔🌊

Let’s see what everyone can do, build confidence, learn from each other and have lots of fun along the way!

Six weeks. New skills. New challenges. Plenty of time on the water. 💙
