ACHIEVED GOAL WEIGHT = NOT HAPPY!
Imagine you have achieved your goal weight on the scale that you were desperately trying to achieve for months and years BUT you are NOT happy the way look in the mirror.

Lost 18 KILOS in few months & KEPT IT OFF!
I couldn't recognise my body after pregnancy. I felt lost, demotivated and losing 18kg post pregnancy while being a new full time mum was so overwhelming. I was thinking should I work on my health and feel good or be beside my new born son.
I decided to take action by working out at home to begin with and focus on mindful healthy eating, prepping my meals with balanced wholesome nutritious foods while enjoying my treats.
Gradually I started to add more days to my workout routine..from 30 mins twice a week, I started working out 4 times per week.
I found this less overwhelming as I GRADUALLY started upping my game.
Using my fitness knowledge, I evaluated my progress every month especially as I started seeing changes on a weekly basis, I started evolving my training plan and nutrition.
Less than 5 months, I lost my 18kg post pregnancy weight while doing weight training and NO CARDIO (it was my choice).
I don't have 'lucky' genes.
I did have a SOLID plan, focus and discipline to feel better in myself once again.

✨You'll nearly never find time to develop new hobbies after you start your 9-5 desk job. It's nearly hard to not relax on the weekends when you've spent five solid weekdays at work. So, how can you get healthy while sitting at a desk for 8 hours?
LET ME HELP YOU👇
✨Extend your work hours to the gym - Go to the gym right after work, whether it's 5 or 9 p.m. Take a shower before retiring to bed. The next morning, get up early and do whatever you had planned for the previous evening.
✨Aim for protein with every meal, as well as water, vegetables, and fruits, to help you maintain your energy levels up so you don't feel drained at the gym. Fried, sugary, and processed foods make you tired and heavy.
✨Carry your workout bag to work - I've made it to my evening gym session 50% of the time since I had my clothing and trainers with me. Your incentive is convenience.
✨Find a gym that is close to work or on the way home. You can't complain about a basic yet effective if it's convenient.
✨In the beginning, plan to go to the gym for four days and do one day of . If you look out for positives, the gym is the most motivating place to begin your adventure - watch people work hard on themselves, study their attention, feel the energy of the music, and begin working on yourself.

My answer is longevity. The older I get, the stronger I am, I want to feel healthy for my entire life. I want to set my body up for success. Treat my body as a temple no matter what. 🖤

MINDSET TRANSFORM 2016 vs 2021
2016
The girl on the left had body dismorphia - she kept looking at her stomach all the time and only wanted visible abs. She ate too low calories despite active job role, ate only clean food and steamed vegetables, restricted herself from her favourite food items which led to binge eating on evenings and on off days from work. She felt weak and still wanted that strong look. She covered her stomach area despite wanting to flaunt it.
2022
She eats her favourite food items in balance, eats way more calories now and has upped her maintenance calories to whopping 2000 calories per day. She is not obsessed about her stomach area anymore. Feels confident in sports bra. She looks and feels strong, has not restricted herself to anything she desires to eat. Her friends and family are proud of her and look upto her. WIN WIN 🏆 situation.

Good genes 🧬 contribute to less than 1% of my gains. I have been fighting my “genes” for the last 8 years now. My body has a tendency to store and hold on to fat especially during stressful situations or during lack of nutrition discipline. I see it first on my whole belly area. This is why it took me longer to see permanent fat-loss and have learned habits/routines to keep it off. I am not gifted with good genes.
So, no it was never my good genes. I just work hard. If I can do it, so can you! Never underestimate how far you can push yourself.

WHY CHOOSE GROWTH 📈 OVER COMPANY ?
Whether you are building your dream body or cracking a job interview or even launching your own business, it will get a bit lonely because of the bottomless devotion these endeavors demand of you.
You may start noticing changes in your personality as you decide to adhere more strictly to your pre-planned schedule and your friends will be the first to notice your frequent “yes” turn into “no”
This is not to say that you absolutely cannot have a social life, I not speaking about extremes. Your goals (depending on how serious you are) do demand a certain focus, dedication, consistency that only comes when you spend time alone and work for them.
For the past 7 years, I’ve been increasingly spending more time by myself, on myself, in building my dreams - one day at a time.
