It’s nearly time to kick off the new season and we can’t wait to welcome both new athletes and returning members to Pro Game Cheer! Here’s everything you need to know about the tryout process…

📍Where are tryouts?
• Lutterworth Sports Centre – LE17 4RB
• Soar Valley Leisure Centre,
Mountsorrel – LE12 7FG
• Enderby Leisure Centre – LE19 4LX

You’ll need to choose your location, your age group, and the level you’d like to try out for and pop it in your calendar!

❓Who needs to attend tryouts?
Everyone! All athletes — both returning and new must attend a tryout session to be placed on a team for the 25/26 season.

New athletes please email [email protected] to confirm your attendance.

⭐️What are tryouts/evaluations?
Tryouts are a structured but friendly session where coaches evaluate a mix of skills including:
• Tumbling
• Stunting
• Jumps
• Flexibility
• Performance quality
We also consider key qualities that make a strong teammate — including a positive attitude, coachability (how well you take feedback and apply it), willingness to learn and adapt, teamwork, kindness, and alignment with our club values.

🤝Will everyone be offered a place?
Yes! Every athlete who attends tryouts will receive a team placement (either recreational or competitive) based on their current level, experience, commitment and growth potential.

📧How will I receive my team offer?
You’ll get your placement offer by email, along with a copy of the information pack. You’ll then have time to read through everything and confirm whether you’d like to accept your spot for the season.

🔥What’s new this season?
We’re excited to launch Level 2 teams this year! To be considered for Level 2, athletes must have a back handspring tumble pass, or be actively training to achieve one.
