Forming a new habit is like carving a path in the jungle.
Your current habits may feel like an easily walkable pathway, however the path is filled with snakes, and dangerous insects which bite at you as you walk through.
Sometimes it FEELS easier to take the same route over and over again, despite it causing us pain.
New habits, will require you to carve a new path, through the thick overgrowth of the jungle, which be challenging and difficult.
Therapy and Meditation are tools which you can carve out a new path, with more ease.
They aid in clearing out the messy deep rooted issues, which make it difficult to navigate and make sense of our present
As we put work and effort it forming new habits - making a new path
The older pathways become overgrown and wild, disappearing from sight unused.

Sukoon Retreats 🌴 Relaxation skills are techniques that allow a person to initiate a calming response within their body. Everyone has their own preferences and skills that they find work best for them. Two of the most commonly used and effective relaxation skills are deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation 💪🏼
We will practice:
Progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) breathing can significantly reduce feelings of anxiety. PMR requires the user to go through a checklist of muscles that they will purposefully tense and then relax. Using this technique will create a feeling of relaxation, and it will help you recognize your change of state when experiencing anxiety by recognizing the tension in their muscles 🧘♀️

Whatever you need to give to others, you must first give to yourself.
When was the last time you took time to re-energize, on a consistent basis. Enough to feel fulfilled?

We do for others probably more than we would do for ourselves. And usually we put them first
However, if your tank is always running near on empty there's never enough for you, once the little you have is given out. You need to fill yourself up first
