🌊 Wild Women SUP Course 🌊

We’re almost there! Just the pub paddle left to complete our SUP course. 🍻🏄‍♀️

The ladies have been incredible, learning new skills, supporting each other and, most importantly, finding a whole new level of confidence on the water. 💪💙

This week was all about rescues — and what better way to learn than getting stuck in and having fun in the water! 😂🌊

So proud of every single one of you and how far you’ve come. From learning new skills to building confidence and looking out for each other — that’s what Wild Women is all about. 💙

One more paddle to go… then we celebrate on 10th November! 🥳🛶

🌙🛶 Wild Women paddle all year round! 🛶🌙

As the nights get darker and the temperatures drop, we don’t stop paddling — we just get a little more prepared! Learning about safety, clothing, staying warm and looking after each other is always our priority. 💙

Last night was no different as the ladies headed off to the Space Centre for a dark journey — what an adventure! 🌌✨

A huge well done to all the ladies for getting out there, learning, supporting each other and embracing the darkness. 🌙

And a massive thank you to our incredible volunteers who give their time, skills and energy to make these experiences possible. Wild Women wouldn’t be what it is without you. 💕🛶

Keep paddling. Keep learning. Keep looking after each other. 💪🌊

🛶 Week 1 of Canoe & Kayak Start to Discover! 🛶

And what better way to start than getting stuck into rescues before it gets dark… and very cold! 🥶😂

A brilliant first session with this fantastic group, building confidence, learning new skills and getting to grips with what to do when things don’t quite go to plan on the water.

I’m so proud of everyone for completing their Paddle UK Award and taking another step towards feeling confident, capable and safe on the water. 💪💦

What a great start — bring on the next few weeks! 🛶💙

Wild Women — supporting each other, learning together and having fun along the way. 🌿

A brilliant day at LOPC with a lovely group from The Leicester Specialist Mobility Centre, organised by Helen. 💚

We packed a lot into the day — starting with food preparation and a little healthy competition with archery, before learning how to light fires and cooking dinner together.

Then it was time to get on the water and paddle our way to the pub! 🛶🔥🏹

Thank you to Helen and the whole group for coming along. It was a pleasure to spend the day with you, try lots of different activities and share a few laughs along the way.

We hope to see you again soon! 💚

🌿 Something for everyone at Wild Women 🌿

We truly believe there is something for everyone — and that getting outside, moving your body and spending time with good people can make such a difference. 💚

This week we’ve had social paddles, courses, skills sessions and a pub trip — lots of different ways to get involved, learn something new or simply enjoy being outdoors with others.

Next week we’re back with:

🏹 Archery for Menopause – open to everyone! A fun, relaxed way to come along, have a go and join the Wild Women community.

🛶 Kayak & Canoe courses – moving into rescue week. A really important part of building confidence and knowing what to do if you or someone else ends up in the water.

🌙 Our social paddle – because there’s still time to enjoy the river before the evenings get too dark and scary! 😂

Whether you want to learn a new skill, improve your confidence, get active, meet people or just have a bit of fun outside, come and join us.
There really is something for everyone at Wild Women. 💚🌿

✨🚀 Wild Women Social 🚀✨

Last night’s social was a little different — a relaxing evening exploring the wonders of the National Space Centre. 🌙✨
A chance to slow down, have a wander, learn something new and, of course, enjoy good company along the way. 💙
A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers who give their time and energy to make these mixed activity sessions possible. It’s because of you that Wild Women can keep trying new things, making memories and building friendships both on and off the water. 🫶
Here’s to another great Wild Women adventure! 🌿🚀
