What a fantastic and unforgettable weekend for MB Sports Events! ⚽🔥 Pieta' Hotspurs FC Academy , Qrendi FC Youth Nursery , Santa Venera United Youth Nursery and Zebbug Rangers FC Youth Nursery travelled to Sicily to participate in another excellent tournament organised by Tornei Giovanili Sicilia . 🇮🇹⚽

At the same time Whetstone Athletic Football Club , travelled from England to Malta for a 4-day football experience, where they played friendlies against Qormi Youth Football Nursery and Pieta' Hotspurs FC Academy. 🇲🇹🏴

Weekends like these show the true beauty of football — bringing together players, coaches, clubs, and families through passion, development, friendship, and unforgettable experiences.

⚽️🇲🇹 What an incredible weekend it was!!! 🇲🇹⚽️

For the very first time, we had the pleasure of bringing a foreign academy to Malta as we welcomed Whetstone Athletic Football Club for a 4-day football experience from Saturday 2nd May to Tuesday 5th May.

During their stay, the group enjoyed an unforgettable experience both on and off the pitch, including:

✅ Friendly matches against Qormi Youth Football Nursery and Pieta' Hotspurs FC Academy
✅ Visits to the beautiful cities of Mdina and Valletta
✅ Fun activities at Adventure Hub
✅ A relaxing morning at the beach 🌊☀️

A special thank you goes to Qormi Fc for hosting the team at their complex, and to Di Santos Bar & Dine for the excellent service provided throughout the visit.

Experiences like these continue to show how football can create friendships, memories, and opportunities beyond the game itself.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming the Under 14 squad of Whetstone Athletic Football Club here in Malta, in the coming days, for a 4-day football experience.

During their stay, the team will take part in a series of friendly matches against Qormi Youth Football Nursery and Pieta' Hotspurs FC Academy, providing a great opportunity for competitive football and cultural exchange.

We look forward to hosting them and creating a memorable experience both on and off the pitch.

⚽️🇬🇧 Back from another unforgettable experience in Leicester! 🇬🇧⚽️

Pietà Hotspurs FC Academy Under 10, led by Coach Andrew Deguara, enjoyed an incredible 5-day football immersion filled with top-level experiences and unforgettable moments.

The team had the opportunity to watch three professional matches:

🏟️ Leicester City vs Preston
🏟️ Manchester City vs Liverpool
🏟️ Derby County vs Stoke City

A truly special highlight was being flag bearers during the team entrances at Derby County — a moment the boys will never forget!
The experience also included a King Power Stadium tour, where the group met Leicester City legend Matt Elliott, adding even more inspiration to the trip.

On the pitch, the boys competed in six friendlies, including a fantastic match against Leicester City U10 at Seagrave — a top-level experience that will surely contribute to their development.

👏 A big well done to all the players for their great performances and excellent behaviour both on and off the pitch. Competing against such strong opposition is a fantastic learning opportunity.
