Please have a bottle of water with you! Take a mat for your convenience.
We start with a warm-up at 9:30. Followed by:
1. Jumping Jacks, Push Up
2. High Knees, Squat Jump
3. Burpee
4. Rev Push Up + Lunge
5. Touch heels, Touch knees [crunches]
6. Superman, Mountain climbers
7. Plank + Side plank
8. Cool down, stretch 🧘🏼♀️

Welcome to TABATA!⛩
Tabata is an intensive interval training developed by Dr. Izumi Tabata. It consists of 20 seconds of intense exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest, repeated 8 times, to total 4 minutes. ⏱Our workout is typically 6 rounds x 4 minutes then plank, jump rope and selfie time 🤳! It’s free of charge classes run by non professionals, local fitness enthusiasts. & Every Saturday we start at 9:30 am at Bede Park and finish by 10:30am🌳
Why Tabata? It was scientifically proven to be the most effective way to increase both aerobic and anaerobic fitness having some fun and socializing simultaneously!!! 😆And it burns 13 calories per minute! So regular Tabata will keep you really fit! 🤸🏻♀️Having said that, we encourage everyone to work out at their own pace! Bearing in mind that this is High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) before joining our sessions we recommend enquiring with your doctor if you have any existing health issues or concerns. 👩🔬Weekly workouts are run by nonprofessional fitness enthusiasts and we do not accept any responsibility for injuries/health issues or any other matter related to these Tabata sessions in Leicester.📜
