Hypnotherapy and NLP, working with adults and kids, tapping into the subconscious for positive change

Self-doubt is not always about ability.

You can be experienced, capable and trusted, yet still feel unsure inside.

That is because confidence is not just about skill.

It is also about how safe it feels to believe in yourself.

If that safety did not feel stable earlier in life, your system may still hesitate now.

But confidence can be built from the inside.

You do not need to live near Leicester to begin hypnotherapy.

Reset my Mind works with clients around the world through private online Zoom appointments.

That means you can join from a quiet, comfortable space without travelling or adding another journey to your day.

Online hypnotherapy follows the same collaborative principles as an in-person session.

You remain aware, involved and in control throughout the process.

A reliable internet connection, headphones when helpful and a private place where you can relax are usually all that is needed.

Distance does not have to prevent you from exploring support that feels right for you.

👉 Send us your location and questions, and we will explain how an online appointment can work for you.

Sometimes things are going well, but you still cannot fully relax.

A part of you stays guarded.

Waiting for things to change.
Waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Not fully letting yourself settle.

That does not mean you are negative.

It may mean your system is not used to stability yet.

But when that changes, you do not just have good moments.

You can actually feel them.

You can genuinely want something to change and still find yourself delaying it.

A new role. A different routine. The end or beginning of a relationship. A move, retirement or another significant next chapter.

Consciously, the change may make complete sense.

But the subconscious often prefers what feels known and familiar, even when the familiar is no longer helping.

That tension can appear as procrastination, anxiety, self-doubt or difficulty letting go of the past.

Hypnotherapy may help reduce fear around the unknown, strengthen confidence and align deeper patterns with the direction you consciously want to take.

Resistance does not always mean the change is wrong.

Sometimes it means your mind needs support adjusting to what comes next.

👉 Tell us what change you are navigating and ask how hypnotherapy may support the next step.

Knowing something logically and feeling it emotionally are not the same thing.

You can know you are safe.
Know you did well.
Know it is not a big deal.

But if your body does not feel that, reassurance only goes so far.

This is why people get stuck between what they know and what they feel.

The deeper work is helping your system catch up with what your mind already understands.

Safety is not just about where you live now.

It is also about what your body learned growing up.

If your early environment was unpredictable, your system may have learned to stay alert.

Read the room.
Watch for changes.
Anticipate reactions.
Prepare for what might happen next.

And even when life becomes calmer, the body does not always switch off automatically.

You may still feel on edge.
Still struggle to relax.
Still feel like something could happen, even when logically everything is fine.

That is not weakness.
It is a learned response.

And learned responses can be updated.

I’ve experienced this myself, and I see it consistently in my work.

So many people think, “This is just how I am.”

Anxious.
Overthinking.
Always alert.
Unable to relax.

But many of those patterns are not personality.

They are learned responses.

And because they have been there for years, they start to feel like identity.

That distinction matters.

Because if something was learned, it can be changed.

Shopping can be enjoyable, practical and completely ordinary.

But sometimes the urge to spend begins serving another purpose.

- A temporary lift after a difficult day.

- A distraction from boredom or loneliness.

- A reward when confidence feels low.

- A brief sense of control when other parts of life feel uncertain.

The purchase may create a rush, but guilt, secrecy or financial stress can follow once that feeling fades.

Compulsive shopping is not simply a failure of discipline.

It can be a learned emotional coping pattern.

Hypnotherapy may help explore the triggers beneath the urge, strengthen conscious choice and support healthier ways to find relief or reward.

Message us privately if spending has started to feel more compulsive than enjoyable.

When everything is fine but something still feels off, it is easy to dismiss yourself.

You tell yourself there is no crisis.
You tell yourself you should be grateful.
You tell yourself to get on with it.

But that unsettled feeling may be pointing to something deeper.

Not something wrong with you, but something within your system that has not yet updated.

That is often where the real work begins.
