Last night we paid tribute to Gateway club member and Galaxy teammate Andi Peel who we sadly lost last week.
Andi wasn’t with the club for long but was an integral part of the Galaxy team and well known and loved throughout the basketball community in Leicester.
Everyone at the game honoured Andi with 24 seconds silence after the tip-off followed by a huge round of applause.
Carl Sandall played the game in Andi’s Galaxy #7 jersey and led the team in scoring, ironically making 7 3 pointers and taking us to a 86-68 win against a tough Harborough team.
A big thank you to Market Harborough for joining us in our tribute, it was hugely appreciated and led to a fantastic game that we know Andi would have loved.
