Summer camps for beginners and intermedjate players are now live for booking. Limited spaces available over the summer holidays.

As of Friday 22nd May, 5 of our ladies’ teams are currently TOP of their respective division (and the other one is 2nd). This has to be a record in all 80 years of tennis Oadby Granville !!!

Best of luck to the 14&U boys team who are competing in the county cup nationals finals this weekend in Nottingham as one of the top 8 teams in the country. Kent up first 💪🦊🎾

Well done to Niam and Ria who were part of the winning team. Lots of Oadby representatives at all 9 school teams that attended the event with some great matches on show.

Very sad to hear this news. Although Carisbrooke was Gene’s club for many years, he was also a member at Oadby Granville for quite a few years, playing in regular fixed fours. In 2023 there was a 75 age gap between him and Jack B when they both played in the club’s opening season tournament (there is a photograph in the comments). A true legend in Leicestershire tennis.

We have some very sad news to share that Gene Harris passed away this weekend.

Gene held the club close to his heart for many years, serving as a joint Head Coach and inspiring hundreds of players of all levels—many of whom went on to compete at a very high standard. He also enjoyed a distinguished playing career himself, representing the club and county, and proudly playing for Great Britain in his age group, including in the USA.

Rest in peace, Gene. You will always be a part of The Brooke. ❤️

Congratulations to Matt Howse and partner on winning the Hotelplanner Tennis Tour Shootout Series event at Aldershot last week.

Great to see so many at our recent quiz, a record 74 people !
A big thank you to quiz master/scorer, bar and catering helpers.

At the recent Tennis Leicestershire Awards night, the club collected a record breaking 17 awards winning, for the first time, the Sports Mercury Cup and the Ladies' Premier Division title. In addition, Men's Division One, Ladies' Division Two, Mixed Doubles Division 1a and the Men's Super Senior Premier League.

Along side these senior titles, club juniors won 11 league titles.
