TLC Dance

With immediate effect TLC Dance will no longer be running due to lack of numbers and commitment - for past couple of weeks I hardly had a class to teach and I have been out of pocket each time

However I would like to thank those that have been with the school from the start and committed their time to the school.

I would like to wish the kids all the best for the future I will miss them all

Come and join us on a Wednesday and dance yourself fit! Dancing for 1 hour can burn upto 500 calories ....

You can dance at your own pace however I will also push when needed!

Also great way to socialise as all our memebers are amazing 😬

I'm please to say that I have managed to talk to the centre and agreed on a price for the room that will allow us to keep up and running!

I can't thank all the parents and kids enough who have stuck with TLC Dance so far and I hope you continue to on this journey!

I want to make us something special - I want the kids to keep working hard to showcase everything and get us into events because I am so proud of each and everyone of them and who they have become.

I do urge parents to get as many of kids friends to come and join to make us even bigger and better

There will be a slight increase in price of 50p a week so the younger class will be £3:50 and the older class £4

The school won't be back open till Wednesday 27th September as I'm due to go on holiday so don't want to open to then shut again!

Hope all my kids had a great first day back at school from the photos I have seen you all look beautiful!

Just a quick update I'm trying my best to find somewhere cheap and local to keep the school open as I really don't want to close it

This being said it's not easy!

I'm still trying! But where we are is cheapest of them all so it might be that price will have to go up to continue the classes

I won't be back for couple weeks as I'm on holiday for a week in September so it will be September we are all back up and running!

Dance will not be on over the summer, I am also currently looking for a new place to run the classes from hopefully I will find somewhere so I won't have to close the school all together 😩😩

So I have a couple things I need to say ...

1) tonight not many turned up to class even though only a couple people said they was unable to make it .... others didn't so I assume that it would have been busier than what it was. I honestly don't mind as I know when it's holidays people would rather be doing other stuff but would be nice to be told

2) because of number 1 I think it be best to stop dance during the holidays as there not much I can do with 4 people .... this happens every year 😩

3) I been advised the room Hire will be going up therefore I'm going to have to put prices up which is something I have wanted to avoid - I am trying to avoid this increase however I don't think I will win .... so it be your happy to pay more or I stop dance although

I have been doing TLC Dance for 5 years now and I don't feel I as a teacher I have improved it enough - don't get me wrong the girls and boy have improved a lot in their confidence and dancing but numbers have always been low which caused me to have to close during holidays .... with one or two missing it's has a big affect on everything else.

To shut the school would break my heart but it really does seem to look like this will be the only choice as I don't feel you paying more is fair!

My mind is all over the place as I only want to put my girls and boy first ..... 😓

Due to a mixed amount of numbers in both classes for the summertime only I will be merging both classes together ...

Both classes will start at 5:30 and finish at 7

The younger girls can be collected at 6:30 the older class will get collected at 7
