🏹 MID-SUMMER SHOOTOUT — RESULTS! ☀️🎯

A huge congratulations to Jay Mistry, one of the newest members of Fosse Company of Archers , who joined the club during the summer and has already made a fantastic impression! 👏🏹

Jay took 🥇 1st place in our Mid-Summer Shootout with an impressive 1527 — an outstanding result! 🏆

The competition was shot over an AGB 900 round, with plenty of fantastic shooting throughout the day — and several of our archers also picking up new club records! 🎯💪

🏹 Chairperson’s Cup – Round 1: The Battle Begins! 🏆Fosse Company of Archers

The first leg of the Chairperson’s Cup is in the books, and after all the arrows, the laughs and the “that definitely wasn’t where I was aiming”… Paul T has come out on top! 🥇👏🏹

It wasn’t by much though! Conner pushed him all the way into 2nd place🥈 , while Jay-nee Jayne is sitting comfortably (or nervously!) in 3rd🥉 The leaderboard is so close that a couple of rogue arrows in January could turn everything upside down!

With the Frostbite Round in January it’s still all to play for. The cold weather, frozen fingers and questionable decisions will no doubt keep everyone on their toes. Will Paul hold his nerve? Will Conner finally catch him? Will Janey quietly steal the trophy while they’re busy watching each other? Stay tuned… 👀❄️🏹

🎉 A huge congratulations to John!

Considering he only joined the club back in June, he’s clearly not read the memo that says you’re supposed to struggle for a while! 😜

John has earned his first shooting badge, achieving a fantastic 252 at 30 yards. A brilliant milestone and a testament to the effort he’s put in over the last few weeks.

Congratulations from everyone at the club, John! We suspect this will be the first of many badges👏🎯🏹

Some people don’t just join a club… they become part of its foundation.

Today we celebrated one of our original founding members, Graham “Shed Man” Broad, as he takes a well earned step back from archery.

To recognise his years of dedication, friendship, hard work, and unwavering commitment to Graham was presented with an Honorary Life Membership.

From helping build the club into what it is today, to sharing his knowledge, encouragement, and countless hours on the shooting line, Graham has left a legacy that will continue to inspire generations of archers.

While we’re sad to see him stepping back, we’re incredibly grateful for everything he’s given to our club. This isn’t goodbye—it’s simply the next chapter for one of our archery family.

Thank you, G’! . Your arrows may fly a little less often, but your impact on this club will last forever. ❤️🏹🎯
